It was clearly showing its age. The neighbor had a hair in her food. Our food was just okay. We didn't go back again.

A fantastic restaurant where you can eat very well for a very reasonable price. And the portions are huge too! We arrived there for lunch at 1 p.m. The spaghetti carbonara was enormous at 200 grams (but smaller portions are also available). The schnitzel and fries were also delicious, and there are also daily specials for only €8.50, such as a pepper steak with rice or a hamburger with fries. Friendly service and a very large covered outdoor terrace with a view of Kaltern. It's also a three-minute walk from the Mendelbahn cable car. The six of us had a delicious meal and drinks there for less than €100. I highly recommend it. The apple juice is also delicious, by the way 😉 And you can park your car right next to the restaurant.

The ribs were deep-fried and undercooked, so they weren't that juicy, and the marinade didn't have much flavor left. The fries were also overcooked and too dry. The gluten-free pizza, unfortunately, tasted bland.
I recently read that South Tyrolean restaurants place a lot of emphasis on quality, among other things, and I've been able to confirm this from my own experience, but here I was unfortunately surprised by the opposite. The service, however, was excellent. I wouldn't go again, even though the location is quite good.
With the number of guests, it bordered on mass processing (but that might have just been our feeling), which would explain the drop in quality of the dishes.

The pizzas were delicious!
The male waiter was more than friendly and accommodating compared to his blonde colleague.
She seemed rather listless and grumpy, which is something you don't want on vacation.
The restaurant itself was very busy and popular with locals.
