Amazing lunch! Very good dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We were welcomed without any problem even though it was 2:30 PM. Giuseppe served us and explained each dish with passion and professionalism.

It was supposed to be a quick lunch before continuing the journey home, but instead it turned out to be a long and delightful stop! Giuseppe is truly a host like no other; his passion for his work and for food captivates and overwhelms you! Always smiling, professional, and attentive to his customers' needs. He's keen to let them know that his dishes are 0 km, or rather... 0 km, which you can taste in every bite! The appetizers are varied and incredibly generous. The first courses are a delight, thanks to his mother's skilled and expert hands and the goodness of the produce from their garden. The desserts are also top-notch; we had a tart with orange marmalade and chocolate, a true delight! By the end of the meal, we were talking like old friends; we felt like we were at a friend's house—a truly wonderful culinary and human experience. Thank you, Giuseppe. See you soon. We were traveling between Scario and Naples, just before the Sanza exit, swallowed up by traffic and with two hours to go. It was lunchtime, and hunger was pounding. Without thinking too much, we scrolled through the map and spotted a restaurant. We hadn't read reviews, we didn't need them: a couple of photos and instinct were enough. So, we trusted it.
At 12:30 we entered, perhaps a little early for lunchtime, and with a slightly uncertain smile I asked: "Too early to eat?"
Giuseppe came towards us. A huge smile, a sincere handshake, and a phrase I'll never forget:
"It's never too early to eat. And here... we eat, eh?"
Then he added: "I saw you from the window and took the liberty of setting the table for you here."
In that moment, we realized it wasn't just hunger: we needed a place like this.
He offered us a complete antipasto, a taste of the best of locally sourced products. Each dish told a little story: fragrant cured meats, rich cheeses, golden fried pasta, stuffed zucchini flowers, a parmigiana that tasted like home. Meanwhile, Giuseppe told us about his first courses: handmade cavatelli—one, two, and three-finger—topped with wild boar ragù, mushrooms, and pistachios...
Then came the grill, with its hand-crafted sausages, and more side dishes, vegetables, and stories.
We wanted to order everything, but stomachs have their limits. We chose cavatelli with wild boar ragù, grated ricotta, and a sausage with sautéed vegetables.
A riot of flavors, but above all, of authenticity. Because here, they don't just cook with their hands: they cook with their heart, and Giuseppe's mother, who works in the kitchen, knows this well.
Giuseppe, his passion overwhelms, welcomes, and conquers. He's not just a restaurateur: he's a storyteller, a keeper of traditions, someone who makes you feel at home even if you're just passing through.
We'll be back, for the good food and the Basil and Mint Amaro.
But above all, we'll be back to remind ourselves that, sometimes, a handshake, a heartfelt dish, and a genuine smile are enough to transform a simple lunch into a lasting memory.

A particularly enjoyable mid-August lunch. Giuseppe welcomes you and makes you feel at home. Among the abundant and delicious dishes, the secret ingredient is cacioricotta, grated with a special homemade grater, especially good with fusilli with meat sauce.

Sedersi a tavola senza ordinare, ovvero come sentirsi a casa.
Ci siamo affidati al piatto del giorno cucinato dalla sig.ra Anna e proposto da Giuseppe...un saporito risotto ai frutti di mare.. Direi che ci è andata molto bene.
Piatto abbondante ma senza sentirsi pieni o "gonfi" come capita sovente mangiando fuori porta..
