Restaurant - pizzeria in the center of Mantua along the side streets of the square. Despite its small size, the place is cheerful, warm and welcoming. Extensive menu with traditional dishes and pizzas cooked in a wood oven. I recommend the typical pumpkin tortelli and the beef stew with polenta that melts in your mouth, perhaps accompanied by a tasty side dish such as baked potatoes. The only flaw is the half-frozen sorbet, in fact the ice has ruined the creamy and homogeneous consistency that it should have. Fast service and good value for money. If there had been more attention to detail my rating would have been higher!

Local pizzeria and restaurant with a large choice of pizzas, less than first and second courses. But the gnocchi with radicchio are really good, the tagliatelle with Mantua ragù is also good. Excellent portions and excellent value for money!

It's been a long time since I've been back and I was satisfied with the service: very efficient. The access door is not very insulated and therefore offers a "pleasant" climate if you sit nearby. Decent pizza. The cost of the service at €2.50 CAD with placemat and paper napkin is inconceivable.

5 star food apart from the sbrisolona which was served after being unpacked in front of me as if it had been taken from the supermarket 2 minutes before. Staff perhaps a little under pressure (1 person serving and taking orders for the whole place).

We were passing through Mantua for Christmas. Most of the restaurants were closed. Here instead open. I took fried aubergines with chickpea flour (also for celiacs). Curry chicken breast with basmati rice (also good for celiacs). Brisolona Mantua.
For us, everything was delicious. So 5 stars.
Remember that it is more of a pizzeria/trattoria, so if you are looking for luxury you won't find it, but the environment is nice.

Located in the center of Mantua, at Gigi you can find both local cuisine with typical Mantua dishes or pizzas. I opted for the pizza, which was also very good with good service from the staff, who were very kind and helpful.

Posto carino e di poche pretese, cibo così così... da tanto tempo non mangiavo gli gnocchi di patate gommosini, sarebbe meglio farli in casa! Cameriera molto gentile. Prezzo adeguato.
