A simple location... very intimate yet welcoming. For my first course, I chose focaccia with radicchio, gorgonzola, and walnuts. Followed by a dish of typical Mantua pumpkin ravioli, which were delicious. For dessert, I couldn't miss a taste of brisolona with zabaglione.
Never stop at appearances, which may seem unappealing... They can surprise you 😉

Very tasty and cheap, bottle of Lugana wine here 17€ and the same around the corner 30€, so remember this small and fine restaurant

Highly recommended; the prices and service are unbeatable! We visited almost every bar and restaurant in 10 days, and this is the number one in the entire city! Affordable and friendly.

We stopped at Gigi's for lunch during a day trip to Mantua. The welcome was warm and the service friendly. The appetizers were truly excellent, carefully prepared and rich in flavor. The Mantuan rice, while good, seemed made-to-order and slightly overcooked for my taste. Overall, however, the food was good quality and the value for money deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Vedendo la locandina su Corso Re Umberto abbiamo deciso di cenare presso questo locale che risulta essere la più antica Pizzeria di Mantova. Abbiamo trovato posto nel dehors ubicato in una via laterale molto tranquilla. Io ho ordinato uno stracotto con polenta e la mia compagna una pizza rossa vegetariana. Servizio rapido e cibo nella media. Prezzi nella media anche se forse il coperto, per una Pizzeria, risulta leggermente elevato. Personale gentile e disponibile. Un'ottima soluzione per una cena rapida ed informale.
