Located in the center of Mantua, at Gigi you can find both local cuisine with typical Mantua dishes or pizzas. I opted for the pizza, which was also very good with good service from the staff, who were very kind and helpful.

Good prices but quality of food not optimal. The first courses were good but the octopus meatloaf was inedible! It didn't taste like octopus at all and was very mushy... The staff however was very friendly, especially ANGELO!

We had dinner at the “Da Gigi” pizzeria before a concert in Mantua. The restaurant is located in the center, a little further from the main street. The outside is rather anonymous, but once you enter the door, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is small in size, with simple wooden tables, set with placemats. We chose a Mantua risotto and a Mantua pizza. The pizza, with salamella cooked in a wood oven, was well cooked, with a crunchy and well-filled dough. An excellent pizza, with a balanced flavour. The risotto, prepared with sausage, was truly delicious: perfectly cooked, with a tasty but not too overpowering sausage, making for a really tasty combination. To conclude, we ordered a dessert: sbrisolona cake with Chantilly cream and zabaglione flavored with grappa. A delicate and delicious end of the meal, which concluded the evening impeccably. Ultimately, I highly recommend the "Da Gigi" pizzeria to anyone looking for a quiet environment, quick service and extremely friendly staff.

Good pizza, but dirty staff to ensure adequate service; friendly but tired staff due to the workload; Furthermore, the constant maintenance of hygiene standards is questionable.

Truly exceptional pizza, excellent ingredients

The place was a little narrow, but welcoming, the food was excellent, I ordered a pizza with truffles, hard to eat but really delicious.

Con mia moglie abbiamo cenato Da Gigi, lei ha preso una pizza (la tirolese) io uno gnocco radicchio e gorgonzola. Giudizio : - molto buona la pizza - ottima la pasta e condimenti molto buoni ed abbondanti; - molto buoni gli gnocchi; - servizio veloce e cortese; - prezzo contenuto. Lo consiglio.
