I stopped for lunch in this place with my family, after a visit to the Etruscan necropolis nearby, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Starters a little scarce but excellent first course and plentiful as well as the meat, good house wine, perhaps even better than the wine of some renowned winery which only has the name as good. Courteous staff attentive to customer needs, cheap prices with an excellent value for money. Worthy of note is the owner, a lover of singing, who, while preparing various roasts and grills, ranges through different musical genres from the Italian 50s, 60s and 70s, excellent voice, compliments. Super recommended

Classic vintage trattoria restaurant, not bad roof with wooden beams, always burning embers for meats and pizzas, it could be much better in location and the food is not bad and the prices are honest

Characteristic place, let's say the trattoria of the past, of which there are few today, the owner who sings while cooking on the grill or in the dining room is the best, a really nice place, the food is really good

27/10/2024: Posto tranquillo.. buone le pietanze .. pasta allo scoglio veramente buona… cucina tipica come 1 volta.. la pecca è che nn c è 1 menù e nn si sa quanto si spende.. ci si ritrova alla cassa x il conto con qualche sorpresa dí troppo.

30/06/2024: Ristorante prenotato in vista di una visita a Civita e scelto per le sue recensioni e per l’ambiente. Soddisfattisimi. Cucina eccellente con piatti tipici della regione rivisitati benissimo, accoglienza e servizio da dieci e lode, interessante e affettuoso confronto con il titolare , persona piacevolissima. Abbiamo preso vino al calice bianco, locale e devo dire molto buono ( e di vini modestamente me ne intendo visto che il nostro hobby preferito è girare per cantine). Il pozzo dei desideri ha anche tavoli in esterno, ma io consiglio,laddove possibile, di mangiare all’interno delle sue meravigliose grotte di tufo, suggestivo ambiente ricercato e con un clima ideale. Esperienza veramente piacevole.
02/06/2024: I had hoped to dine here on our one overnight in Civita, and they ended up being one of the only spots open that night. And it was just perfect. Very beautiful cave setting. Lovely lighting! The one waiter was really hopping, and a real joy to have serve us. Loved everything we had, and was authentic. Obviously it's all tourists as only 11 people live in town, but you'll love it!
