I ordered two pizzas for takeout. They arrived home in just 1 minute to heat up, and then they were simply exceptional. Perfectly cooked, not too salty, and well seasoned. Absolutely top-notch. I'll be back. Compliments to the pizza chef.

I'd like to share a lively evening spent pleasantly at this lovely restaurant in Vanzone. We dined on excellent pizzas recommended by the waiter, who was able to recommend amazing pizzas based on our tastes. I'd also add that he works professionally and fuels the atmosphere around the table with a healthy euphoria. TOP quality. Very good value, and the location is simple and clean. We'll be back soon. PS: I really compliment the waiter because it's not just a simple job and he made me want to learn this profession. BRAVO BRAVO, and keep him close to build customer loyalty.

The restaurant is located along the road leading to Macugnaga. The place is a bit dated but clean. The waiter is very kind and cheerful, while the owner is rather cold. The food is good, although the dish of the day (polenta with lamb stew) is overpriced in my opinion!! The prices for other dishes and the cover charge are fair. Parking is convenient.

Such a cute little restaurant in a tiny village. I went there to pick up 19 pizzas for a group of scouts. I panicked a bit, but everything was perfectly arranged and the food was delicious.

05/09/2025: A wonderful place in the heart of the picturesque monastery complex. The food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. However, the unfriendliness of the staff, even when speaking Italian, is a real imposition.
03/09/2025: Very good food, no waiting time, and very friendly service. The tagliata and pork were particularly recommended, as the potatoes were excellent. Salt and pepper at the table would have been nice. The setting among the trees is particularly beautiful.

22/08/2025: We had lunch at this fantastic place. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the price was very fair. Convenient parking and close to the chairlift. Highly recommended.
18/08/2025: My home in Macugnaga, in Pecetto to be precise, The Locanda is a super hospitable place. I left crying at the sadness of having to leave. Our experience was wonderful. Our room was number 1, clean and smelling of fresh wood. The bed was super comfortable and warm, and we had a reserved parking space. Marco's mother was a fantastic lady. She shared her personal experiences with medicinal herbs and the history of the glacier, which she sees transform every day. It was wonderful to see her come down every morning with warm croissants ready for all the tourists who wanted breakfast before boarding the chairlift. Her daughter accompanied us throughout our stay in preparing breakfast and enthusiastically directed us to the most beautiful trails in the area. She was very attentive and helpful. The cook is super good, the food is delicious, and he kept us company while we drank a Genepi at the end of our shift, telling us about excursions and refuges we could do during our stay. The waitresses were so sweet and quick, in short. The staff were very welcoming, the food was excellent and you slept like a god, the environment with a family atmosphere made you feel at home even if our house was 10 hours away from there..... We left a part of our heart at the Locanda and at Monte Rosa which with its Himalayan wall wished us good morning every morning, it moved us deeply, we will be back very willingly thanks for the welcome Ale and Fede ❤️
