Ristorante Pizzeria CollediSisto In Pomarico

For the first time, I came to Pomarico, a stone's throw from Matera, for work, and on the recommendation of some acquaintances, I was directed to this restaurant. I couldn't have given better advice. The food is truly excellent. The veal tagliata is spectacular, with a side of country-style potatoes. Even though one of the house specialties is horse meat, whose cuts are processed in various ways, including the diaphragm, which is very difficult to find, both for veal and horse. The only flaw, if I may say so, but it's not so much a criticism as a recommendation, especially since I stand by the five-star rating, is the bottle of Primitivo di Manduria. It can't be served chilled; it's blasphemy. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. I hope to return. Highly recommended. See you next time.

This is one of the best restaurants I know. Hand-made food of exceptional quality. It doesn´t matter if you try the pizza, pasta or a secondo of seafood or horsemeat - every dish is delicious, so are the house-made desserts. The service is exceptional fast and attentive. If you want to stay there, you can book one of several, beautiful and quiet rooms which offer stunning views over the heart of the Basilicata. This was my third stay here, and I hope to return.
