Ristorante Pizzeria Charlie In Piacenza

A strange experience: we were told to sit anywhere, and then ordered to sit somewhere else, where the music was so loud that we moved once again. I ordered the Anolini in Brodo, because it is traditional in this area, and my husband the Cotaletta Milanese. His was fine, but mine was almost inedible; the broth had no flavour whatsoever, it tasted like the Anolini and its pasta water had been poured into my bowl. NO FLAVOUR. €14! I spooned/drank up the "broth" first, and then spooned parmesan over the little filled pastas, and I got through it that way. It was the worst meal I have eaten during this year's five weeks exploring Italy. The wine, however - a still house white - was amazing.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with a couple of friends. A la carte menu. We had a great time (that's an understatement). Thanks and congratulations again.

Just a friendly local pizzeria/restaurant located on a busy main road near the centre of Piacenza. Simple decor, tasty pizzas and an interesting salmon (with crust) dish, everything nicely cooked and presented, friendly enough service and most of all very reasonable value for a city eatery...just under 100 Euros all in including service. The only challenge we had was the payment...we went to the till to pay and split the bill 50:50 with our relatives. The first time I paid it seemed to go through fine but as the machine had run out of paper she said it hadn't accepted my card, so she made me tap my card again. On walking down the street, I checked my account and saw I'd been charged twice! So I walked back to ask for a refund which she gave me in cash straight away to be fair when I showed the charge was duplicated! Overall, a pleasant experience, was frankly just surprised there aren't more places open around 2.00pm for lunch...Italy needs to offer more places serving food throughout the day to service the need of tourists who don't all want to eat between 12-2pm!!

Mi sono fermato quasi per caso con mio cugino per una pizza, e mi sono trovato davvero molto bene! Ho preso una pizza 4 formaggi + salciccia e l'ho trovata ottima (c'è la possibilità di avere una pizza a doppio impasto, cosa di cui ho approfittato subito); ho preso anche la millefoglie alla crema + nutella + cioccolato fondente ed era davvero squisita! Alla prima occasione voglio ritornarci!

I had a vegetarian pizza and it was really good. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home made pizza 😊
