Ristorante Pizzeria Braceria Zi Michele In Pompei

A real treat from start to finish! We tried a little bit of everything: the penne, the gnocchi, the 4 cheese pizza, the fried fish and even the meat... everything was delicious. The server was lovely, the chef excellent and the prices very reasonable. I recommend 😀

This place was a truly wonderful discovery. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the place is well-kept, clean, and quiet, with all the amenities, including ample outdoor parking. The food is excellent, made with genuine ingredients. We visited this place on January 1st and had a delicious and plentiful set menu. We also ate here in the evening for pizza, and I must say it was truly excellent. We'll definitely be back, thanks to Zi Michele.

Our itinerary takes us to Castellammare di Stabia... the restaurant I wanted to visit was full... since it was too crowded we opted for a restaurant nearby... this intrigued me especially the reviews... but my motto is ? No judgments until I see for myself...usually if I don't like a restaurant I just write that it doesn't suit my tastes...usually...ample parking and furniture both in the garden and in the dining room that is too bulky and too tacky...the mediocre dishes with frozen fish not highlighted on the menu...but to my surprise the restaurant rooms were almost filled...today I felt out of place and incredulous...I wonder how anyone can give 5-star reviews to this place...obviously these customers like the confusion and the noise...they're fine with the waiters talking among themselves and shouting from meters away...they're fine with the lack of professionalism...they're fine with customers coming into the kitchen to say hello to the staff...they're fine with customers taking glasses and cutlery from other tables without asking the waiters...they're fine with waiting more than half an hour between one dish and the next...honestly, it seemed more like a club than a restaurant to me...

The first evening of our holiday included a stop in Pompeii. The owners of our accommodation recommended the Zi Michele restaurant, near where we'll be staying, an excellent alternative to the center of Pompeii. I couldn't have gotten better advice. Beautiful and well-kept location (though not directly in the center), attentive and engaging service, delicious food, and prices we'd definitely dream of in Milan. We were two families of three children each; we ordered a half-meter Margherita pizza to share, fried zucchini flowers (also shared), 8 spaghetti with clams, a 300g grilled meat platter, and a mixed fried fish, three bottles of wine, water, and Coke for the kids. Total cost: €190 (€95 per family), coffee and limoncello included. Thanks to Raffaele, Luigi, the Sinatra family for the recommendation, and of course to the culinary artist Zi Michele!

I recommend anyone visiting Pompeii to eat at Zi Michele restaurant. Excellent food, fair prices, and friendly, welcoming staff. The local wine is also excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We went to eat as a family of 5 at this family restaurant. We appreciated the waiters, their courtesy, and the home cooking. We ate very well for an unbeatable price. Unfortunately, we don't live in Pompeii, otherwise this would surely be listed as a favorite restaurant.
