25/08/2025: Intrigued by positive feedback from tourists who had dined here and intrigued by the hot appetizers, I decided to try this place, which was once a mere deli.
The location is captivating, with tables overlooking an internal alley, well-arranged lighting, interesting food, and beautifully laid out tables.
The service is courteous, unpretentious, and more than acceptable.
Unfortunately, the hot appetizers were very disappointing: for me, a native of Udine and familiar with the dishes served, having been prepared by my grandparents back in the day, I found them lacking in flavor, typical of fast food for tourists, not a restaurant. The off-menu first course, "pasta with mullet roe, cherry tomatoes, and grated lemon," was good and plentiful.
On the other hand, the pasta with bottarga was nothing special.
The classic appetizer, with samples of various parts of the tuna, was adequate, but these are still pre-packaged products.
In short, the €50 paid for two appetizers and two first courses with water, considering the average quality, is too much.
Too bad.
18/08/2025: Simply amazing!... unmissable dish Tagliatelle with Red Prawns and Truffle... followed by Trofie with tuna ragù and pesto.. then Catalana.. and the scent of the sea.. of which boiled Tuna placed with delicious Oil followed by Tuna tripe and the 3 tastings (better to ask afterwards what pieces of tuna they are🤪) strong flavors.. good wine.. smiles, courtesy of the girls... Elisa and Gianni 🔝 highly recommended... 🪷
