We are used to this simple and essential place which has the only flaw (which however perhaps becomes an advantage) of being in a somewhat hidden position. Excellent pizza, excellent grill, friendly staff. A certainty for those who arrive for the weekend, a guarantee of a good dinner.

Truly a nice discovery!
We booked at the last minute and they welcomed us willingly, half a portion of Gricia, three mixed roasts (I would add among the best I've ever eaten, the meat was genuine, you can see that the raw material is at the center of everything) seasonal vegetables and dessert! To accompany all the good wine is an excellent focaccia 🫓, I really recommend it for spending a nice evening and eating well!

A few steps from the Valle del Salto motorway exit (A-24).
For those who enter the Torano-Rieti (direction Rieti), located at the back of the first service area that you come across and surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Duchessa mountains, you will find this extremely welcoming place, where you can eat various traditional specialties , regional, mouth-watering.
I assure you that this is not the usual restaurant with half-burnt bruschetta, classic fettuccine with ragù and Flemish dishes of black and very tough grilled meats......none of this.
We sat down in a wooden, warm, welcoming environment and were delighted by delicious tastings of appetizers, tasty first courses and excellent meats cooked on a wonderful and scenic ember with the flames always brightly lit, not to mention the pizza, cooked in a wood oven, not exactly round but with an irregular shape (it almost looks like pliers), with a very tender dough, delicious.
The heartfelt imprint belongs to the owner Danilo, who has transferred it to the atmosphere of the entire restaurant, as well as to the attentive and very friendly staff.
Reasonable prices and absolutely not exaggerated....I will definitely return and to those who read I just say to try it without hesitation in the slightest. One word, Thank you.

Special place, good food. Excellent hot appetizers, one portion is worth two, and homemade pasta. All young and nice. A very easy-going place for those who don't have great expectations
