A historic Valsassina restaurant off the beaten track. Family-run for seven generations, it serves traditional local dishes (pizzoccheri, taragna, delicious nettle gnocchi, and incredibly tender stew) as well as excellent pizzas. Truly excellent value for money. Well done!

07/06/2026: I was looking for a restaurant where my relatives could try some typical local dishes. As soon as we arrived, they gave us a very friendly welcome. After ordering based on the waiter's recommendations, the dinner was fantastic; everything was delicious. I highly recommend it for anyone who isn't looking for a fancy restaurant but wants to eat well and pay a fair price. I'll be back.
01/05/2026: The cooking is definitely "homemade," but the result is only decent. The service is friendly, perhaps a little slow, but there's only one person in the dining room. Prices are reasonable.

21/08/2025: We've been having weekend breakfast at Baobab for years. Excellent selection! The variety of croissants, including vegan options, are always super fresh. The family atmosphere and fast service are among the strong points. Highly recommended for a quick lunch with piadinas and the new avocado toast.
