Simple interior, great food, very friendly service.

"Then, suddenly, summer vanished, with large gray clouds laden with rain rolling in from the west, and the acrid smells of the pine forest transformed into gusts of cold wind." On the recommendation of friends from Empoli, we went to this beautiful place. The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, and in addition to the wonderful company, the owner, with various liqueurs offered and a top-notch wine drank by our Sri Lankan friend, ended our summer in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back, because when someone is number one, they'll always be number one forever!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Well-organized restaurant with fair prices. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The wood-fired pizza is delicious!

This isn't our first time at this restaurant, and last night we had a wonderful time, both for the food and the service. Excellent value. The pizzas the kids had were also delicious!

The restaurant is located in a tennis club, very basic, but the food is excellent. The pizza, tuna steak, and grouper mousse are excellent and reasonably priced.

I had always passed by when my granddaughter was going to the tennis clinics there for the past 3 years, and fortunately for us, my bocce club was not open for dinner on Saturday because of two big events. We usually eat at the Viareggina Bocce Club. So for Saturday, I had guests coming together & we were all on bikes. I had made a reservations a few days before & even asked a bocce club player who ate there, “How was it?” He replied, “Buonissimo!” So that made me feel a little more confident to eat there. I am so glad that we did! We tried two pizzas as an appetizer, and then ordered our primi piatti. They gave a lot, and we tried a bite of each other’s plate. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have any cozze/mussels to put on my risotto allo scoglio which I asked for instead of risotto al mare. I will continue to eat Saturday or Sunday lunches at my bocce club on the other side of the park, but will invite my friends on other days to this special place. Thank you to the chef & his gracious wife and staff. We look forward to also trying your ethnic meals of Sri Lanka. See you this week before we leave, or next summer!
