After a week trekking the via ferrata of the Dolomiti Brenta Group, my husband and I spent a day relaxing in Madonna di Compiglio. Due to my special diet, we searched restaurants out of the tourist area for menus that catered to my Autoimmune Paleo (AIP) diet. We liked the menu of Ristorante Pizzeria al Pappagallo, and it was within walking distance of our hotel. The second we walked in, we were greeted like family by Sarah, who shared a hearty hello and a warm, welcoming smile. She offered us a cozy corner table and was an absolute delight to converse with. The food was outstanding! The wine was perfect! And the atmosphere was local Italian. We met Sandra, the owner, who shared that she opened the establishment in 1977. Don't miss this place when you visit Madonna di Campiglio! It's worth the uphill walk! Thank you, Sarah and Sandra, we will be back! Ciao

Lovely place The staff was exceptional, especially Sara, who made us feel right at home. The food, especially the pizza, was delicious!

It was our first time here, and I must say they welcomed us with a smile and a unique sense of warmth. Compliments to pizza chef Beppe, the pizza was soft, super-topped, and delicious. Not to mention the fabulous staff, especially the super-friendly Sara, who served us cheerfully and professionally. I recommend it to everyone.

During our vacation, we had the opportunity to stop by Il Pappagallo, a restaurant with the best traditional food in the area—very, very good. The staff's hospitality makes you feel at home and ensures a truly enjoyable evening. Definitely worth a try!

Just like being at home among friends, with taste and variety: We dined at Ristorante Pappagallo several times during our week in Madonna di Campiglio, trying dishes from the typical menu, the traditional menu, and even the pizza. Each time, we were satisfied with the quality of the food and the attention to detail. What struck us most, however, was the kindness and hospitality of the staff, who made us feel like guests at a friend's home.

We had dinner on Friday evening in this beautiful place, we had delicious pizza, which arrived quickly, the waiters are incredibly kind, especially Sara, if I remember her name correctly, she is just made to do this job, congratulations, I will definitely be back.
