Ristorante Oberraindlhof In Senale-san felice

A warm welcome, delicious food, and a genuinely traditional atmosphere: we felt pampered here. The 16th-century building has been updated with modern details without distorting its character. The family-run business adds an extra touch, making the experience more personal. The dishes are excellent and varied: they offer both a selection that changes every night and a set menu with a four-course menu per person. Our small but very comfortable room had a spectacular view. There is no elevator, and the stairs are steep.

We've been coming to the Oberraindlhof for years and have always had a wonderful time. The rooms are mostly paneled with Swiss pine, the scent of which is calming and promotes a very good night's sleep! The sauna area is also excellent.

Simply beautiful. The cuisine is exquisite and regional. All products are locally sourced and fresh. The owners and all the staff are warm and welcoming, radiating a hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Thank you for everything.

We felt completely at ease in this hotel; it was our third stay there, and that really says it all. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The food was, as always, excellent and prepared with great care. The cleanliness throughout the entire hotel deserves special mention; everything was impeccably maintained. The spa area with its sauna is beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The hosts are extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome immediately. We would love to come back again!

We spent a short break at the Oberraindlhof in the Schnalstal Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The "Stuben" (parlors) were truly lovely and very cozy. The spa area was also charmingly furnished. Magazines, books, and a tea corner completed the positive impression. Breakfast was also plentiful and had everything we needed to start the day. Dinner (we had half-board) was also plentiful and very good. We certainly couldn't have eaten every course; we would have been stuffed! But we have to talk about the service. We haven't experienced such friendly and attentive staff in a hotel or restaurant for a long time. And this continued throughout our entire stay. The location is also excellent. The bus stop is only a 5-minute walk away, so we didn't even need our car to visit the Christmas markets in Merano, Bolzano, and Brixen. Since the Oberraindlhof also provides the Vinschgau Mobile Pass card, this was all included. We highly recommend the Oberraindlhof. Thank you for the wonderful time.

The farm is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. The staff is truly friendly and helpful. Our Antonius room was the perfect blend of antique furnishings and modern bathroom amenities, with a beautiful view from the bed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless and impeccably furnished. I appreciated the availability of a backpack for hiking, although we didn't use it. The only negative, if any, was the extremely noisy floor, meaning we could hear every little movement from the room above. However, this was acceptable given the setting. Dinner was delightful, even for me, who doesn't eat animal products, so I thank you for your thoughtfulness. The breakfast truly includes everything: fruit and vegetable juicer, freshly squeezed juices, various seeds, cakes, croissants, jams, cereals, eggs, and even savory options. The wellness area, while not particularly large, is fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant break (bio sauna, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, outdoor hot tub), and guests have access to loungers, herbal teas, and books and magazines. The property is located in a rather uninhabited valley that doesn't offer any particular activities for those who don't come for winter skiing. We arrived after spending the day in Merano, which is about a half-hour drive away, but it was definitely worth it. We were also given a small gift, which was much appreciated. Kudos to all the staff!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the family and staff were hospitable and friendly. The building was beautiful, the food and wine were delicious. The location and surroundings were lovely and peaceful. The wine tasting with Helmut is highly recommended. We'd love to return.

Excellent stay at the historic farmhouse in Val Senales. We were immediately pampered with a free upgrade. Delicious traditional cuisine, well-kept rooms, friendly and attentive staff. Relaxing atmosphere, themed events. A small gift upon our departure. Highly recommended. We'll be back 🤗
