We ate here last night. The atmosphere was very subdued, with soft lighting and pleasant background music. We had the artichoke flan, the pici cacio e pepe, the cheek with mashed potatoes, and two different desserts...all delicious! I didn't use a knife to eat the cheek... The prices were more than reasonable. All "topped off" by a very kind owner who had already brought water for our dog in no time... Highly recommended!!!!

Good food, cozy atmosphere in a busy street. Limited vegetarian options, but they were all tasty. We had the artichoke flan as appetizer, then local Senese soup, and finally the ravioli. These were the only veg dishes on their menu. All delicious. Topped it off with panacotta and the chocolate cake, both excellent.

In this osteria just steps from the cathedral, I ate a lovely plate of pici cacio e pepe with crispy pancetta. The pici were cooked to perfection, surprising me with their perfect consistency, and the pecorino cheese was very good. The prices were fair. I highly recommend it.

Amazing food, probably the best ragu and Ossobuco I have ever had. Very friendly staf despite being super busy. Reasonable price also. Must visit!

We had a very good meal here with a fantastic server ! The pasta di pepe (bucatini pasta with cheese and pepper) was delicious, as was the Caprese salad. Wine was very good. We sat upstairs which was not an exciting ambience (quite boring). Downstairs would have been more fun/lively, but it’s small. Not really very much of a historical vibe as it’s seems too modern for Siena.

I dined at this restaurant for my birthday: the food was delicious, no complaints there, the place was very cute and modern (which isn't a given, considering Siena's only dimly lit, exposed brick osterias), and the staff were friendly. I'd especially like to thank the owner's daughter—unfortunately, I don't know her name—because I was wearing stilettos that evening, and she made sure I had no problems going down the steps to the bathroom and back up again (thanks again!). The only downside is that last reservations are at 9:00 PM, but if you want to eat a delicious tartare and have a drink, this place is perfect!

Delicious food (gnocchi and tagliatelle) at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff—what more could you ask for? Highly recommended—I'd gladly return.
