Ristorante Numero Unico In Siena

I dined at this restaurant for my birthday: the food was delicious, no complaints there, the place was very cute and modern (which isn't a given, considering Siena's only dimly lit, exposed brick osterias), and the staff were friendly. I'd especially like to thank the owner's daughter—unfortunately, I don't know her name—because I was wearing stilettos that evening, and she made sure I had no problems going down the steps to the bathroom and back up again (thanks again!). The only downside is that last reservations are at 9:00 PM, but if you want to eat a delicious tartare and have a drink, this place is perfect!

Delicious food (gnocchi and tagliatelle) at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff—what more could you ask for? Highly recommended—I'd gladly return.

We visited this osteria, having reserved a table shortly beforehand, which was kindly reserved for us. We ordered a tagliata and a beef cheek, both delicious and generous portions. We also had two glasses of wine and a coffee, the final price more than fair. Special thanks to Desy, who accompanied us through dinner with her kindness!

Lunch in August with children. The lasagna was really bland. The meat was good. Still, €70 for 3 dishes and water, without wine or desserts. It's crazy, but these are the prices charged in the area...

Oh, go ahead, some people look for a fancy place, with the right lighting and velvet chairs. I don't. I'm interested in the meat on the plate and the courtesy of the person bringing it to you. And here, I'll tell you the truth, they know what they're doing. I had a beef cheek that melted in my mouth, tender as butter, and some local pasta dishes made just right. The atmosphere? Maybe it's not something out of a magazine, maybe it's a little cramped and the lighting isn't right, but who cares. When the owner and the guys are down-to-earth, people who know their job and treat you like a Christian and not a walking wallet, the rest matters little. You eat well, you spend the right amount, and you leave with a smile. This is the real osteria. Period.

A great find in a charming and well-located alleyway! We tried a wild boar stew accompanied by fresh pasta: a real delight, perfectly simmered and full of flavor. A place to remember for lovers of authentic cuisine!

Very good food. A restaurant that offers original dishes (I liked the artichoke flan with truffle cream and pecorino) and well prepared.

Excellent tavern with typical dishes. I enjoyed the ribollita senese and tagliolini ragù di cinta senese. Also excellent the possibility of having tarallucci and wine for dessert.

We loved it here! Thank you so much to the lovely server. We got the set tasting menu at 40 euro per person- Prosciutto board, bread, wine, water and steak with potatoes. It was REALLY good.
