How can it be so delicious? 😭 It's so good! 😭 I had steamed dumplings, stir-fried rice noodles, fried rice, and wontons with my friends, and they were all delicious! 😋 The stir-fried rice noodles and fried rice were a little salty, but luckily I like strong flavors! So delicious, highly recommended. (The wonton soup didn't taste like northern-style wonton soup, but it was still delicious 😋 They gave us a lot of seaweed too.)

Very quiet place because it's not very busy, BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY, it's so good. I've tried other Asian cuisine places in Florence, but so far nothing beats Mr.Z. I'll take my friends there. Everything is really delicious: the vegetables, broths, sauces, EVERYTHING. Very friendly staff, fast service, very fair price, definitely worth it ❤️

The food was rather average, but it was cheap. A regular fried rice only cost 5-6 euros per serving. When paying the bill, they charged an extra 1.5 euros per person, which we later learned was for tea. Before the meal, there was no prominent sign in the restaurant mentioning a tea fee. What was puzzling was that throughout the entire meal, there wasn't a single sip of tea, not even hot or cold water. It felt like we paid for nothing but air. I don't think I'll ever come back.

The portion sizes were good; however, the noodles and soup base were just average. The noodles didn't taste freshly made; they were more like packaged udon noodles. The non-spicy soup base was rather unremarkable.

If you're in Florence and want some Chinese food, don't miss this place! My girlfriend and I were blown away by the seaweed egg drop soup from the first course to the last. It was truly delicious.

If you are tired of Italian food after about 1 week and a half, and you need some chinese food, here's the place to go. The food was super yum, completely suited our singaporean malaysian chinese tastebuds! & super affordable too! Every dish was spot on, and we cleared them all. Kudos to the super young looking power couple! Sending love and misses from Singapore! :)

07/09/2025: The place where you get the best coffee. Great prices and very friendly service. We discovered this "shop" by chance. If you want good coffee in Florence, you should come here. We treated ourselves to this treat every day during our vacation. We'd love to come back next time we come to Florence.

01/01/2026: For me, this is undoubtedly the best pastry shop in the center of Florence. It's located in the Mercato Centrale area and is a historic establishment with over 100 years of tradition. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a slightly retro atmosphere that might make you think of a luxury place with prohibitive prices, but in reality, it's the exact opposite: the prices are very fair for the area and the high quality they offer. For example, pastries are €1.40 and cappuccinos are €1.60. The place is a bit small and there's often a bit of a line, but it's absolutely worth it, especially since table service is free (a real highlight for the center!). I tried the cream bombolone and it was amazing. If you're in Florence, it's a must-see: I'll definitely be back!
