Ristorante Moghul In Bologna

Simply the best Indian restaurant in Bologna. I recommend the mint chicken, the chicken in cashew sauce, the spicy chicken wings, and the potato naan. I'd also add that every time I order something new, it never disappoints. Special mention goes to the waiters, who are pleasant, skilled, and always friendly.

We arrived at 1:45 PM and asked if we could have lunch, and the waiter nodded and showed us to the table. There were two other people in the room. He brought us the menus, and we ordered one dish each. From that moment on, the impatient waiter began to pressure us to hurry because he had to close the restaurant. We would have ordered something else, but we didn't feel comfortable. No white rice...we should have ordered that earlier! Oh well. Delicious food! Go in the evening or at 12:00 PM.

If you're looking for an authentic Indian experience in Bologna, Moghul is the place to go. I loved how all the dishes are served together, turning dinner into a colorful and convivial experience where you can taste everything at once. Special mention goes to the baked vegetables: they're spectacular and even include pineapple, which I found truly delicious and original, although very spicy and full of character. The atmosphere is welcoming and the flavors are intense, highly recommended!

Simple restaurant near the Two Towers, a welcoming, well-decorated space, courteous waiters, quick service, everything was good, from appetizers to first courses. I recommend the appetizers and garlic bread. We ordered a bottle of wine and two bottles of water. It cost about €30.00 per person.

We were regulars, but we've noticed the price increase. From the usual €20 we'd spend, we've now reached €40 per person. The quality of the food and the friendly service are confirmed.

We had a wonderful dinner at Moghul, just a few steps from Due Torri. The food was truly delicious, and the cozy atmosphere, with soft music playing in the background made us feel as if we were in India. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Malinda, whose warm energy made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely Outstanding Indian Cuisine in the Heart of Bologna We had an unforgettable dinner at Moghul in Bologna – easily one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in Italy. Every dish was prepared with such authenticity, depth of flavor, and perfect balance that it truly felt like a culinary trip to India. The Butter Chicken was silky, rich, and perfectly seasoned, with tender pieces of chicken that melted in the mouth. The Saffron Rice was fragrant and beautifully cooked, complementing the curries perfectly. We also loved the Garlic Naan, hot and soft with just the right amount of crispness at the edges – ideal for scooping every last drop of sauce. The Lentil Curry (Dal) was another standout: comforting, aromatic, and full of layered spices. For dessert, the Almond Ice Cream was a delicious surprise – creamy, delicate, and refreshing. We ended the meal with Indian Chai, which was deeply spiced, soothing, and the perfect finish to an exceptional dinner. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were all top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine in Bologna. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant is welcoming and has a lovely atmosphere, both due to its location and the dining room. The food is very good, but the portions are decidedly small for the price. We expected larger portions, but overall we were still full, but not entirely satisfied.
