A must-do experience if you come to Val Rendena. You can eat in an old convent refectory. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. If you want the risotto with shank, you have to book in advance! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable!

A truly welcoming atmosphere, with excellent dishes and impeccable service.

We stayed two out of three nights in Pinzolo. There were six of us. A truly beautiful location. The historic building was truly well-maintained and furnished. Very welcoming. Excellent service. The hostess, the sommelier, and the staff were all courteous, professional, and impeccable. On the second evening, however, the service was extremely slow. After an hour and a half, we were only served the appetizer. The food was delicious; we also tried their pork shank with rice and ice cream. Truly excellent. The only negatives were the portions, which in some cases (the salmon, which was served to me, was very small), were small, and the prices. You pay for quality, and I agree. So paying €35 for a fillet steak or €18 for a plate of spaghetti doesn't bother me that much, given the excellent quality. I'm much less impressed by paying €18 for a dip, which basically consisted of a simple bowl with a few vegetables. Of course, it was just a crudité, but for that price, it was reasonable to expect something more.

Heavily overpriced restaurant. There are only a couple of dishes to choose from, and half of them are either for 2 people or need to be ordered in advance. The taste is decent. The service was mediocre. Edit: The reply of the restaurant is the Cherry on the Cake

Excellent. I came back with a group of friends and had the veal shank with parmesan rice (order in advance). Delicious as always!
