We were driving from Florence to Rome on the highway (no tolls) and stopped at Montalto Di Castro to get something to eat and stumbled across Ristorante Metro - a gem, the service, the food and the atmosphere was amazing - authentic home cooked Italian food - there are no menus - Daniela brings out the food and you just keep eating 😋

Very nice place, good and plentiful food, the owner very kind and hospitable, if we pass through Montalto again we will definitely return.

Locale intimo a conduzione famigliare, ben curato e tranquillo, si sta dentro (con aria condizionata). Antipasto di pesce in diverse portate, scelta tra 3 primi di pesce. Non abbiamo preso dolce. La vera forza di questo ristorante, oltre alla grande simpatia della proprietaria, è la qualità (e abbondanza) dei piatti. Ingredienti di prima scelta cucinati divinamente! Olio del frantoio di Canino, pesce freschissimo. Posso dire che erano anni che non mangiavo così bene! Non cercate il menu, non ce n'è bisogno.. Affidatevi alla signora che vi accoglie e vi serve, non ve ne pentirete. Abbiamo speso 35 euro/persona con due bottiglie di vino in 4. In assoluto la migliore esperienza culinaria a Montalto
