Ristorante Messnerwirt´s Stuben In Valdaora

During the Winter Olympics, we spent a truly wonderful week at the Hotel Messnerwirt. The hotel is superbly located and boasts excellent room amenities. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean – you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We booked half-board and were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast offers a good selection with everything you could wish for. It's especially convenient that egg dishes can be ordered fresh and hot. The service is very attentive and friendly. Dinner, included in the half-board package, was also excellent. The menu selection is varied and of very high quality – a real treat after an active day. The hotel also has a small but lovely spa area, perfect for relaxation. While it's only open until 8 p.m., it's very well-maintained and pleasant. Another plus is the hotel's own parking, which is free and included in the booking. The hotel's parking spaces are free of charge and included in the price. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a small but excellent hotel with superb service, outstanding cleanliness, and very good food. We would gladly return!

A nice and cozy hotel decorated in Tyrolean style, and the staff is very helpful. The food is excellent and varied and very imaginatively served. The afternoon cakes and tea after skiing were a surprise. I would also like to praise the very cozy ambiance in the wellness area, where you can drink very delicious natural teas, while listening to soft tones of music while you rest. The bus stop that goes to the ski resort is close, approx. 100m and we got tickets for free at the hotel itself. Our room was a little cold on the first day, but we solved that very quickly. Thank you to the hotel staff for the warm welcome, especially the young gentleman who met us at the reception and explained everything to us very clearly. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel and it is free.

I've known the Hotel Messnerwirt in Valdaora di Sopra for over a decade. I last stayed there in August 2025. The family-run atmosphere lends the hotel a welcoming and truly comfortable atmosphere. The property has recently been renovated and offers everything you need in a hotel of this caliber, including a relaxation area with a sauna and Turkish bath, sensory shower, whirlpool, and infrared cabin, as well as numerous relaxation stations. The cuisine is delightful, light, and tasty, and always well-balanced. The service is attentive, discreet, and friendly. Breakfast is also excellent, especially the "sweet" version, which I prefer. A true courtesy to guests is the snack offered every afternoon, with authentic cakes and drinks that restore you from the morning's exertions! The rooms are spacious, all with balconies and very comfortable beds. The location is truly strategic, even for those who love a cycling holiday. The garage offers a veritable mini-workshop where you can take care of your bike, whether electric or manual, including the option of a thorough wash. The stunning setting of the Pusteria Valley gives this property, located at the foot of a typical Pusteria bell tower, a magical feel. I highly recommend it for families, couples, and single travelers!
