Ristorante Medel In Selva di val gardena

The food is good, we took 2 pizzas and they were correct, although they brought a knife that didn't cut. On the other hand, I want to highlight the messiness of the waiters, we were made to wait 15 minutes to be seated when there were empty tables, they took a long time to bring us the food, the menus... everyone was sweaty and stressed, and we couldn't ask them for anything.... I honestly don't think I would recommend it to anyone.

The food was really good and the atmosphere very pleasant – no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service was quite chaotic during our visit. Even though we clearly ordered starters and main courses separately, everything was mixed up. Two main dishes arrived only after three out of five people had already finished eating. We also had to ask for our second round of drinks three times before they finally arrived. Of course, everyone can have a bad day, but at these prices, we expected better organization. A real shame – great food, but the service was disappointing.

Nice place, decent food, prompt staff. It was open when many other places were closed.

Was excited to try this place as they list their allergies on the menu (I'm gluten free) and the menu said that they had gluten free pizzas. Unfortunately I got yelled at trying to order a gluten free pizza. I was told by the waiter "no" after I tried ordering and was confused so pointed to where it says gluten free pizza on the menu and got shouted at "I told you I said no." Since I was there for lunch I asked if they would have it for dinner thinking maybe they just ran out? Oh no... got yelled at again. So anyway, got the risotto and went to their other location closer to downtown and got the gluten free pizza there very easily without getting yelled at. The pizza was quite bad though. Maybe it's because we got take away. Not sure. But don't go to this location if you want gluten free pizza because apparently they don't actually have it and the waiter will be very mad for you trying to order it.

Expect some reeeeally big pizzas. Not the best, but biiiig. Accomplishes the brief. Feed the hungry.

Absolutely fantastic decor and atmosphere in this restaurant. The wine was delicious and the goulash too. Even though we had the same dish, they were served with 15 minutes between them, which was slightly odd. Best tiramisu we've had. Brilliant place for a special treat.

Conoscevo questo ristorante, con elegante arredo in legno al primo piano, all'inizio di Selva. In 3 abbiamo preso pizza: 2 bracconiera, con porcini e speck, una bianca e una rossa, molto gradite + 1 marinara con acciughe. La marinara era ben fatta, sottile con pane asciutto, anche se preferisco il fondo più croccante. Con 2 birre piccole, una cola e un piatto di buone frittelle di mele abbiamo speso 73 euro. Bene per i prezzi della Val Gardena (a esempio la marinara è costata esattamente il doppio che da noi in città). Servizio molto cortese.

Sono stata in questo ristorante con amici. L’ambiente è molto confortevole e molto bello. Purtroppo il servizio non è ottimale e il personale non è attento. Il mio piatto è arrivato quando tutti gli altri avevano terminato il pasto. Rapporto qualita/ prezzo da rivedere
