The last time we were in Val Gardena we visited Medel. We did this time and will again when we are here! The food was delicious and its presentation well done - from the starters through the mains to the desserts. We can only recommend this restaurant!

Very nice restaurant. Terrible service; the glass I asked for at the beginning of the meal never arrived, nor did the salt or pizza. The cutlet was burnt. What a shame.

I've been here twice, day after day. The service is very professional. Every dish is a masterpiece. It's truly worth a visit. The waiter, Noris, is very knowledgeable. I recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Val Gardena.

Wonderful!
The food was delicious. Ten of us ate here two evenings in a row and were delighted each time. We tried almost everything, and I can't decide which was the best. The desserts are a must-try – fantastic!
The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
You absolutely must come here.

We learned about Medel from the locals. They strongly recommended Medel for pizzas. As a family we tried the first day and we ate nearly all dinners there. Atmosphere was calm, comfortable sitting, quick service, what you all look for. Risotto, calzone, tiramisu, gelato were also very good, we even ordered takaway tiramisu. We are back home and when I ask the wife where we eat today, she says Medel :)

Great meal and far more than just a pizzeria
Located just outside of Selva centre on the main road. We booked a last minute table for five for dinner and it was a good decision. Menu ranges far beyond pizzas - I had an excellent grostl. Warm and traditional alpine decor and efficient and friendly service - the latter of which hasn’t always been in evidence during our time in the Dolomites.
