Ristorante Matt's In Olbia

19/07/2023: Nella splendida cornice dell’hotel Calacuncheddi, questo ristorante annesso, negli anni scorsi, sfigurava rispetto al resto. Quest’anno si nota un netto miglioramento nella qualità e nella quantità. Sempre pronti, professionali e disponibili tutti i componenti dello staff magistralmente coordinati dal maître Alessandro. Peccato solo che, molte pietanze esposte al buffet non siano coperte e può capitare di imbattersi in ospiti indesiderati (come da foto allegata dove un moscerino nuota nel recipiente delle mozzarelle). Mi dispiace segnalare ciò ma l'intento è solo costruttivo e non polemico.

15/07/2023: Hit and miss, with service and food, but the environment and views were splendid and stunning. The sommelier support was non-existent. We just closed our eyes and picked a Sardinian wine, hoping for the best. The best is what we got, so at least their offerings are reliable. Our meals were included in the price of the hotel, so we didn't suffer too much from knowing what it cost, with the exception of the wine. If one does not speak Italian, getting explanations of menu items was impossible. Overall, it was certainly above average, but not really in line with the luxury accommodation hosting this restaurant.
