I've been there more than once and I must say that I've always enjoyed it, especially when it comes to the starters. The choice of cheeses, all produced locally, and cured meats, often of artisanal origin, are excellent. Kind service and honest price.

Typical Cilento cuisine. Abundant and quality starters. Get ready for manner and with typical recipes. First courses are Terra's classic. The meat proposal for the second course is an excellent experience, as it is very tender. To conclude, dessert: try the home-made ice creams.

The best of the restaurants in the area, also open for lunch, they offer traditional cuisine revisited in a modern key with excellent raw materials, very good Chef Raffaele who today made us taste some delicious dishes, a special mention for the green tagliatelle with pistachio handmade with porcini mushrooms and truffle and egg soufflé with a soft center of egg yolk, artisan sausage, ricotta and porcini mushrooms on a bed of spinach Perfect service from Francesco in the dining room who guides you to the best choice in a friendly and professional manner!!!! Dinner with colleagues in the town of Petina, what can I say...go there! Francesco will welcome you and make you feel like one of the family without ever being inappropriate but with a kind smile and very high preparation, he will recommend traditional local dishes. The kitchen is truly top of the line. I think we ate a good part of the menu available because we didn't go just once, but three times in the space of a few days, and what do you want to do? You always return to where you had a good time and at Francesco's at the Marino Restaurant you can trust that you will never, ever find yourself feeling bad. One negative note is that I cannot give 10 star rating. Because believe me it's worth it all. Very recommended place if you are nearby but also if you are not. Go there and let me know.

Every time it's like coming home. Group of 6 friends for lunch. Francesco in the dining room is attentive to the professional and at the same time friendly clientele, with his brother in the kitchen who churns out delicacies with excellent raw materials, and the whole family who make this restaurant truly special. What can I say, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Interrompiamo sempre il nostro viaggio in autostrada per pranzare in questo ristorante a Petina. Ottime le materie prime (porcini, carne) gentilissimi i proprietari. Gelato super (provate gusto funghi porcini e castagna) Ne vale proprio la pena uscire dall’autostrada.

21/10/2024: Viste le ottime recensioni abbiamo provato questo ristorante ma non siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti: il punteggio è la media tra piatti ottimi e altri appena sufficienti. L'antipasto di salumi: buoni prodotti ma nel sapore mancava quel che rende del salame o del capocollo eccezionale, quindi appena sufficiente, nulla di eccezionale. Primi ottimi, veramente buoni, ben fatti, mangiati con gusto e piacere. Secondo bistecca con cottura media, senza infamia e senza lode, dura al taglio e alla masticazione e poco gustosa.

17/09/2024: To get to the place you need a navigator because it is decidedly isolated. Which is a great advantage! Breathtaking view, well-kept interiors, spotless public bathroom, well-kept and bucolic exteriors. The food is at times spectacular. I took a Chianina menu (in the photo) for €30, an exceptional value for money. The raw material is almost entirely of their own production, as they are an agricultural and breeding company. The staff very attentive and kind. Carmine, one of the owners, absolutely exquisite. One episode above all: I took a Chianina steak off the menu and asked for it to be rare/medium cooked but due to an error in the kitchen it arrived well cooked. I pointed it out and had to insist not to make it again, eating it anyway. Well, at the end of the meal Carmine then insisted on making me accept a 700 gram raw steak to then cook for myself at home. It was excellent. Behavior like a true gentleman, nothing to say. Five stars deserved.
