Ristorante Margherita In Vallerotonda

This restaurant is well known and has had positive experiences. I recently spent Ferragosto there, and I must say that despite the crowds and the unpredictable weather, I had a wonderful day. The restaurant is located practically on the shore of Lake Cardito, and you can take a walk along the lakeside after/before lunch. The food was excellent, homemade and high-quality, especially the roast lamb. The service, despite the crowds, was good.

I've known this restaurant since I was a child. It hasn't changed much, and I think that's a positive thing. Simple food, a limited menu because everything is freshly cooked, and a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere, as it should be in a place like this. Its proximity to Lake Cardito, a place of peace and surprising beauty, is priceless. P.S. Ask for the shortcut that takes you directly to the lake, for a refreshing stroll.
