Beautiful view and lovely square with loungers. Also accessible by car, with parking for €10, which you can deduct from your bill at the bar, restaurant, or adventure park near Lake Montagnoli. The platter was very good, and the Sacher Torte was excellent. Prices are typical of the area.

The quality/price ratio is decidedly poor. The half-trout fillet was old and dry. The water, 0.75 for €4, probably came from Lourdes. The 12:30 service wasn't very crowded, and for the 2:30 service I didn't see any lines or waiting. Perhaps a bell should ring to warn someone; I heard it clearly. Be careful.

Dear Malga Montagnoli, I still remember the warm, late-afternoon breaks returning from a day of skiing, the last Spinale run before heading home. We'd stop in front of the refuge, quickly remove our skis, and warm our chilled hands in front of the fire in the main room with a steaming hot chocolate, helmets on the floor. Some children would even take off their ski boots because their feet were frozen, or simply to relieve their calves, strained from the effort. We were, perhaps, 8 or 10 years old. There were no reservations, no lines, no apps, no WhatsApp, no parking, no queues for a table. We were all sitting together in front of a small fire, enjoying the end of the day's skiing. How romantic. Of course, there wasn't the influx of people today, hordes of tourists who literally storm the refuge in the summer and winter seasons. Stopping for lunch or a break means booking the date and time in advance. Stopping for a drink has become impossible, as has the fast, impersonal service (even though we've been coming here since the '90s), the last-minute reheated dishes, children's menus (not for all children), no short pasta, only adult portions, and little flexibility. Do we want to talk about the skyrocketing prices? Oh, but ma'am, we're in Campiglio, okay, everything's fine... two dishes, a water, a dessert, two coffees, €60, sure, but parking's free, okay... what happened to the fresh berries? What did they eat in the summer? Juicy and with a true mountain flavor? The positive note remains a refuge nestled in the splendid setting of the Brenta Dolomites, with a sad parking lot in the background, alas, that's all too jarring given the UNESCO-protected area. What happened to sustainable mobility and the much-desired eco-shuttles? What happened to the lake area (alas, artificial) where ordinary families could enjoy their picnics and rediscover true connection with nature, and now only ropes cordon off the entire area and prohibit access? So, am I making a profit or am I awake? Dear Montagnoli, I'd like to rediscover, for a moment, that feeling I felt as a child, with my mustache stained with chocolate.

A true paradise! The mountain hut is in an enchanting location, perfect for relaxing (the deckchair area is wonderful for soaking up the sun). The food is exceptional: spectacular dumplings and pork cheek with melt-in-your-mouth tender polenta. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere remained pleasant and not at all chaotic, thanks in part to the super-friendly and organized staff. A special mention goes to the shop, where we purchased their dairy products and other traditional specialties. Prices are absolutely in line with the area. Reservations are recommended. We'll definitely be back!

5 stars. The first courses are poor, but just don't order them. For example, the dumplings are embarrassing compared to those at Lago Nambino. The suckling pig, goulash, and trout are excellent. The most delicious appetizers are the fried polenta sticks. If I were them, I'd add the option to only order them à share.

The lake is beautiful, with a chalet offering an exceptional view of the lake... it's also a great place for a picnic. The lakeside path is lovely, suitable for everyone, and is worth a visit.

Very nice place. We ordered two coffees and waited 20 minutes. It wasn't the waiter's fault, but unfortunately he was alone serving at least 50 people.
