18/06/2025: Very nice and well-kept location, with a large room with a convivial and informal atmosphere. We ate really well at Bottarolo: Roman cuisine is authentic and full of flavors. In particular, the carbonara and gricia were perfectly creamed, with crispy bacon and eggs with an enveloping flavor. The second courses did not disappoint either: tender and well-seasoned meat, traditional dishes prepared with passion. The house red wine, fresh and slightly fruity, pairs splendidly with the dishes, helping to make the meal even more enjoyable. The staff proved to be extremely courteous and knowledgeable: they explained each course to us with details and suggestions for pairing, and the service was quick without being rushed. The place is welcoming and bright, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a relaxed lunch. The street parking is quite convenient and is located right near the entrance, something not to be underestimated in the city. In conclusion, everything was taken care of down to the smallest details: from the quality of the ingredients to the quality-price ratio, which turned out to be more than advantageous. I will definitely be returning to Bottarolo soon to relive this wonderful gastronomic experience.
