We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Amatrice! The food was authentic and full of flavor — you can really taste the local tradition in every dish. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Highly recommended if you want a true taste of Amatrice! 😊

Appetizer with local products, very good. Two first courses: classic Amatriciana and Gricia.... EXCELLENT!!.

We went to Ma Tru in Amatrice and had a truly wonderful time! We chose the tasting menu to try both the gricia and the amatriciana, both exceptional with authentic flavors and generous portions. The arrosticini were also excellent, tender and well-cooked. The waiter was very kind and helpful, and the service overall was impeccable. A highly recommended place, in a welcoming atmosphere!

We're a group from Florence, and we had lunch at this restaurant... Daniele is a wonderful person, a real gem. He moved us to tears, and he amazed us with the quality of the food, his courtesy, his kindness, his generosity. He directed us to a local shop to buy products he could have sold himself, making a profit, but instead, he told us to go to his fellow villagers, to help them too... A wonderful thought. A true gem in Amatrice! We are a group of friends from Venice, and we can confidently say that this restaurant was one of the best experiences of our trip! We ate wonderfully—abundant, authentic, and flavorful dishes, just as you'd expect from Amatrice's traditional cuisine. The amatriciana was, of course, amazing, but everything else was just as good. A special thanks to Daniele, who welcomed us with rare kindness and warmth. He made us feel at home, as if we'd been longtime customers. His passion for cooking and hospitality shines through in every detail. Great Daniele, keep it up!
