I had high expectations for this restaurant...which were only partially met...I booked a table for two by phone, recommending that it be in the front row, I was assured of it, I received a message confirming the reservation. Upon my arrival I discovered that I had not provided the deposit with a card (perhaps my oversight but no one warned me) and therefore I was relegated to the second row...never heard of anything like it!!! an absurd dynamic that made me live badly the whole evening. Poor service, staff too young and too inexperienced for a starred restaurant...also a very self-celebratory and tasteless tour of the cellar... impeccable cuisine and location..I don't know if I'll return: the world is full of high-level restaurants and cuisines...lower your crest...

One of the best experiences of my life. We ordered two tasting menus (€195 per person). We thought we'd be hungry, but we stuffed ourselves with food, and everything was delicious! They also adapted the menu for gluten-free meals, and aside from their kindness, the staff solved a parking problem for me so I could continue eating without having to do anything. Thank you so much for the service, and I hope we can come back someday!

Unforgettable Dining Experience a Highlight of Our Trip to Italy!
Our dinner at Lorelei in Sorrento was, without a doubt, the best meal of our entire two-week trip through Italy. We chose the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu, and every course was a masterpiece. Everything was so refined, inventive, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a restaurant that treats vegetarian cuisine with such creativity and respect, but Lorelei delivered something truly extraordinary.
The setting alone is worth the visit. We dined during sunset, and the panoramic views over the Bay of Naples were absolutely magical! It’s the kind of moment you try to photograph, knowing it will never quite capture how stunning it really was.
What made the evening even more special was the hospitality. We were invited to meet the executive chef and watch as he prepared an extra post dinner dessert and tea before our main dessert. We loved seeing his passion and attention to detail while he worked. While we enjoyed our tea, we were given a tour their beautiful wine cellar, which features a view of an ancient Roman aqueduct! It was an unexpected and fascinating glimpse into Sorrento’s deep history.
Everything about Lorelei feels thoughtful and elevated, yet welcoming. This is the kind of place where every detail matters, from the plating to the pacing to the warmth of the staff. If you’re looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Sorrento,especially one that embraces fine vegetarian cuisine, Lorelei is unmissable.

Notre dîner au sein de ce restaurant étoilé fut une véritable parenthèse enchantée.
Le chef déploie une créativité impressionnante, sublimant chaque produit dans des compositions d’une grande justesse. La présentation des assiettes, empreinte de poésie et de délicatesse, est un ravissement pour les yeux avant même d’émerveiller le palais.
Le service, attentionné et professionnel, a su rendre l’expérience encore plus agréable grâce à une présentation des plats en français, tout en restant chaleureux et accessible.
En fin de repas, la visite des caves historiques et la rencontre avec le chef ont apporté une dimension humaine et authentique à cette expérience unique.
En ultime clin d’œil gourmand, nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster une glace mousseuse maison, offerte par le chef : une véritable caresse sucrée pour clore ce voyage culinaire.
Ce restaurant, récompensé d’une étoile Michelin, livre une telle maîtrise et une telle émotion qu’une deuxième étoile serait amplement méritée. Un lieu d’exception que tout amoureux de gastronomie devrait découvrir.
Un immense merci au chef Ciro Sicignano et à toute son équipe pour cette magnifique soirée que nous n’oublierons pas.
