The area is very picturesque. As you approach from the winding road, the Rocca di San Leo, dating back to the mid-1400s, stands overhanging the hilltop and is breathtaking. The "La Rocca" restaurant and inn is located in this setting.

The location is worth it, and the ambiance is just like you'd expect in these places. The price/quality ratio is fair, slightly pricey, but not excessively so. The food is good. The service is lacking, not a negative, but let's just say it could be more welcoming and accommodating.

Writing a review for my family and I of Ristorante La Rocca San Leo and the Rossi family is difficult. There will never be a single word or judgment to express the emotions we experience every time we go there... 31 years... We went for the first time as a couple, and the last time we returned was in August to visit our grandparents. And we decided to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with Ivo and his family. Throughout these years, they have upheld the culinary traditions of Romagna with unique cuisine using genuine ingredients. In the afternoons after work, we spend time making fresh pasta, savoring the aroma of truffles, and fine meats, all accompanied by a top-quality wine list and homemade desserts. The atmosphere is one of family. Ivo, Fabio, Raffaele, Annalisa, and Elena represent the heart of the Malavoglia di Verga family. They are all united in good times and bad. A special thanks to this family that upholds the values of catering with simplicity and humility.

We chose this place for dinner, looking for traditional dishes. And we chose well. A rustic and warm place, you feel at home among the family thanks to the kind and friendly staff. Delicious dishes made with exceptional ingredients. We had venison carpaccio, a rustic appetizer, followed by tortello San Leo with PGI Romagna olive oil and Fassa cheese, dry passatelli pasta and freshly sliced truffle. To finish, a spelt tart with orange and quince. Every bite was a pleasure. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a group of others. When we booked, we let them know that there would be three vegans, and the staff was super helpful! They even went to the nearby bakery to get us some vegan cookies especially for us. Everything was delicious, simple cuisine with seasonal local products. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive! The location was beautiful, quaint, and scenic. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

I have never eaten such delicious and delicate food. The meat dishes are many and delicious. The pasta is even better. Good prices and a wide variety of wines.

Go! Just go! This place was so good, if for nothing else, the truffles. We had passatelli with truffles and the grand cheese platter. The owner helped us order and the server was attentive. But people, the passatelli with black truffles was one of my favorite dishes in Italy from all of our trips. The cheese platter was unique and we savored every bite. Make a day of it. Go to San Marino early before the crowds, then head here for lunch and trek to the San Leo rocca. A beautiful Italian day.
