Excellent restaurant!!! I returned after about a year and immediately noticed a great evolution, with the freshest raw fish. We ordered the raw fish of the day: carpaccio of red mullet, white sea bream, wild strawberry, and scorpion fish, and the ever-present scampi and red fish. We were served directly by the owner, and to continue with the excellent raw fish, we chose the salt-baked fish... an excellent yellow grouper for three. The wine list is comprehensive, including international wines. The price was in line with the quality served.

The staff was friendly and the lobster rice was delicious, highly recommended.

Party of two dined here on May 22, 2025. The staff was great. Thank God they spoke English because my Italian is not so great. We needed gluten free options due to an allergy, and the waiter went over the menu with us to explain all of the choices. The grilled octopus was delicious. The Bacala (Cod fish) was amazing, as was the Branzino. For desert we had the cheesecake with strawberry sorbet…..another winner. This is not a tourist trap. It’s away from the craziness. It where the locals go for fantastic food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not regret it.

A true pearl for fish lovers! Osteria Via Mantova has become one of my regular stops: spectacular raw seafood, extremely fresh and presented with great care. Each dish tells of attention, passion and quality of the raw material. The menu is varied but never predictable, with balanced combinations and authentic flavours.

Excellent business lunch whose highlight was a delicate and very tasty tagliata di tonno !
