December 2024: still excellent!
March 2023 review: Exceptional service, exceptional seafood. Very busy at peak hours, which means the service is still good but there is some effect due to the number of guests being served. No English menu but some staff speak English. Items pictured are the baccala mantecato (awesome) and the very, very good lemon sorbet and the gelato (probably orange amd mango). Fish, pasta, and meat is all good here.

Great restaurant, they opened a little earlier to accommodate us. We were in the area visiting the fountain of the frogs. We had pasta. I don’t recommend the gricia because it was salty.

We are talking about a tavern in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Rome for a Roman or non-tourist in general.
The managers, Luca and Angelo, are two delightful people, extremely available for any need you may have, in my case a lunch that started late and ended very late; I still thank them for their patience.
The restaurant has a very beautiful internal space, although on the outside it remains humble and modest.
Moving on to the cuisine, the dishes are truly exquisite and refined, speaking of the fish, very fresh.
I really recommend you try the delicacies that this place can offer you, surrounded by impeccable and attentive service.
You will feel at home, but with a cuisine that you would be hard pressed to replicate.

Unexpectedly we ate here twice. At lunch and in the evening. Both times we were surprised by the quality and good taste. The service is competent and professionally friendly. Recommended in Rome
