Ristorante Larchenwald In Bolzano

We were guests in this wonderful house for 5 days at the end of August. An absolute stroke of luck. We felt very comfortable, everything was perfect. The house, the room, the garden were well maintained, very clean and the view of the Latemar and the wonderful landscape were picturesque. The breakfast and especially the 5-course dinner were excellent!!! Katrin's service was perfect and Stefan's cooking skills are hard to beat, all in a house with "only" 20 beds. It was wonderful that we were able to enjoy the menu outside in the wonderful surroundings every evening at 1350 m in fantastic weather.

We were there in September 2023 and felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Best cuisine, very friendly atmosphere, beautiful rooms, top quiet location, top bus transport network. Highly recommended a beautiful little country hotel.

At the end of September we spent a week at the Landgasthof Lärchenwald for the first time on the recommendation of a good friend - what luck, we will certainly come back! Starting with the wonderful location with the wonderful view, our beautiful room, the wonderful garden and the culinary delights, everything is just right. We experienced heartwarming kindness, we felt at home! In the morning there is a nice breakfast, wishes are happily fulfilled, in the afternoon a cup of coffee and wonderful apple strudel in the garden - or perhaps a glass of wine - and in the evening there are several courses at the highest level. Katrin with her warm service and wine expertise and Stefan in the kitchen enchant the days in the larch forest in a unique way. We also really enjoyed the shared aperitif with bacon and smoked sausages from our own production and the barbecue evening - where Stefan had the best spare ribs on the grill that I have ever eaten. In addition to eating and drinking, you can also do other wonderful things, you can walk wonderfully from the house, the bus stop is only a short distance away, the bus takes you as a guest to Bolzano free of charge and in a relaxed manner. Hiking tips, the weather forecast and a preview of the evening menu and the appropriate wine recommendation are available at breakfast in the "Lärchenwald Blätt'l", which we always looked forward to when we got up. The more I write, the more I want to go back...thank you for the lovely days!

Quiet location with a great view towards Latemar, pleasant rooms, great service and excellent cuisine. Very good value for money. This is our fourth time here for a week and we would love to come back.

We spent a week at the Landgasthof Lärchenwald - an absolute stroke of luck! The inn is like a pearl in the landscape. The service is very good, the rooms excellent. Since we were accommodated in the so-called "little tower", we had windows or balconies on two sides. The spacious bathroom was always clean - as was the tastefully furnished room. The sunset at the Latemar could be watched from the terrace like a cinema screening. We will definitely be there again next year.

EVERYTHING was perfect! Anyone who has something to complain about here has only themselves to blame! The multi-course menu in the evening always provided real taste explosions. Stefan is an artist and you can tell that he cooks with heart and soul. Kathrin is the service artist. ALWAYS friendly, smiling and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. The rooms were piccobello. Thanks also to the lovely cleaning fairy. The room was large and spacious with a great balcony. We enjoyed the incredible peace and quiet there. The views are gigantic and we couldn't get enough of looking at them. There are also theme evenings with South Tyrolean specialties or barbecue evenings. Thank you for the wonderful 10 days with you. We will be back.

Ein Kleinod unter den Hotels und das beste Essen weit und breit. Warum habe ich bisher noch nichts zu diesem großartigen Quartier geschrieben? Damit nicht zu viele Menschen es finden und meine Reservierung eventuell verhindern. Denn wenn sie einmal dort waren, kommen sie garantiert immer wieder. Und dann sind die 10 Zimmer ganz schnell ausgebucht. Katrin und Stefan, aber auch die Generation vor Ihnen, Luise und Max Vötter, betreiben dieses Hotel mit großer Liebe und Leidenschaft. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die angebotenen Mahlzeiten sind immer sehr lecker. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es gibt diverse Eierzubereitungen und Kaffeespezialitäten. Das grandiose Abendmenü (mehrere Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl) muss man einfach mit buchen. Dazu die Themenabende, bei denen gegrillt wird oder lokale Spezialitäten zum lokalen Wein gereicht werden sind ein Träumchen. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich und nicht überteuert. Wir haben uns schon einige Weine von der Karte mit nach Hause genommen. Wanderungen sind ab dem Lärchenwald sofort möglich, aber auch mit dem Bus nach Steinegg oder Welschnofen leicht zu erreichen. Ein Wandervorschlag steht jeden auf der "Hauspost". Wir empfehlen die geführten Wanderungen des Tourismusverbands Steinegg am Mittwoch. Der Bus holt einen untern an der Haltestelle (200m) ab und bringt auch dorthin zurück. Da kommt man auch an Plätze, die man selbst vielleicht nicht auf dem Schirm hätte. Ich sage nur "3-Kirchen" mit der sehr speziellen Mittagseinkehr. Auch in diesem Jahr kommen wir wieder hin und freuen uns sehr darauf!

Wir sind leider vorzeitig abgereist. Zu einem guten Hotel gehört leider mehr wie eine sehr gute Küche und nette Zimmer, was diese Haus zweifelsfrei beides haben Leider war es uns nicht möglich in unserem Zimmer zu schlafen, da dieses jede Nacht von Mücken belagert wurde. Dies wurde ausgelöst durch eine permanent brennende Balkonbeleuchtung welche sich nicht ausschalten ließ und somit allerlei Getier anlockte. Eine Benutzung des Balkons war somit am Abend ebenfalls nicht möglich. Als wir diese Mängel mitteilten, wurde die mit „wir haben halt viele Mücken hier oben „ abgetan. Eine Möglichkeit, diesem Mangel Abhilfe zu schaffen wurde nicht in Betracht gezogen. Ob dies nun aus Arroganz, Inkompetenz oder einfach nur Dummheit war möchte ich dahingestellt sein lassen. Wir waren leider, wie uns bekannt wurde, nicht die einzigen Gäste welche das Problem mit Licht und Mücken hatten. In einem anderen Zimmer hatte man sich, da von Seiten des Hauses auch keine Lösung kam, die Lampe selbstständig abgeklebt. Dies wollte ich aber aus Grund des Brandschutzes nicht machen. Bezeichnet ist ja auch die Tatsache, dass für eine Coca Cola 0.33 !!5 Euro verlangt wurden, obwohl dieses Getränk mit 4,-€ in der Getränkekarte gelistet ist. Darauf angesprochen wurde uns nur gesagt „ich habe den Preis geändert aber in der Karte noch nicht. Beleg dafür liegt mir vor. Ich möchte Sie freundlichst darauf hinweisen, dass der gelistete Preis bindend ist. Wovon man in solchen Fällen redet brauche ich hier wohl nicht weiter zu erklären. Auf den Versuch einer gütigen Einigung wurde leider nicht eingegangen.
