The Berghotel Ladinia is a true gem, a small hotel with a slightly vintage charm located in the center of Corvara with a view of the Sassongher. The food is exquisite, and the outdoor summer terrace is truly adorable. The real difference, however, is the staff; you feel truly pampered, and they're very knowledgeable and always smiling. The room, despite being a bit retro, is clean and quiet. The only downside is the bathroom, which is a bit dated and lacks a bidet, but this is clearly indicated. Highly recommended, we can't wait to return ♥️

Very special - let's say a vintage B&B. Very cosy, small rooms, low ceiling ... which gives you a feeling of an experience from another period. What is really outstanding is the level of customized service orientation from the young and extremely motivated staff (which is nowadays pretty seldom to find) - combined with great dishes and locally sourced high quality ingredients. And of course a wine list like no one - wine makers who I would consider as revoluzzers ;-). If you are looking for posh hotel than it is not your place but in case you looking for something unique this is the place.

I went skiing in Corvara with my son for 4 days and we found Ladinia to be the perfect starting point. Yes, the rooms are comparatively small, but you should be aware of that when you look at the history of the house. But the charm is all the more intense. The breakfast buffet is more than sufficient and really tasty. As an afternoon snack there is delicious tea and daily changing cakes. The portions of the evening 4-course menu are not generous, but they are of high quality and absolutely sufficient for us. And it was at least as important for us: the ski slope is directly 10 meters from the ski cellar and from there you can get to the gondola in 20 seconds. We would definitely come back!

The hotel is a bit old. But with great attention to detail. We weren't that happy with the food. In my opinion, price and performance do not match here. We didn't spend the night here, just ate. The terrace is beautifully sunny and right behind a ski slope. But stopping for a moment and eating something isn't really suitable. It's too expensive for that here. A soup with 5 tortellini for 23€ is rather expensive.

we had dinner at the Ladinia restaurant. refined and very original cuisine, at the same time faithful to the Ladin tradition but innovative and creative. the raw materials are of high quality. the staff is very kind and very well trained: we were looked after by a very well trained and truly courteous boy, Riccardo. the dishes are truly original and excellent. the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, typical of Val Badia. highly recommended!

21/07/2025: I can't say I had a bad meal, but perhaps I expected a little more. This restaurant has had a reputation for being excellent for decades, but after this dinner, I'd put it in the mid-range category. Positive notes: the service. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The grilled shrimp were delicious. Negative notes: the tartare was served unseasoned. Not all guests are capable of properly seasoning a tartare. I would suggest having someone on the staff season it at the table, asking the guest's preferences. They then had the customer taste it before serving. Another sore point was the desserts. €10.50 for a coffee cream with amaretto brittle, a truly mediocre dessert. The portion was small and too much gelatine. Unfortunately, very few restaurants these days are capable of producing a dessert that lives up to the quality of their main courses.
05/07/2025: Excellent steak and friendly service! I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant today, and I have to say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience! The steak was simply perfect—cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. One of the best I've ever eaten. What truly made the visit unforgettable, however, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating without being intrusive. You felt welcome and well-cared for from the very first moment. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

29/03/2025: Top-notch après-ski spot with a special ladies' night every Tuesday evening, and highly professional security. Friendly, attentive bouncer at the door, well-stocked drinks. We'd love to come back, summer or winter.
19/03/2025: My fourth time at la stua - the first with the new chef. Service was great (kudos to Pamela and nicoleta), food as well. In my opinion the sommelier a bit lacking depth and knowledge of la carte. Very good price / quality. We will be back.
