Note: photos are of the buffet. I was looking through our photos and remembered that this was our best meal in Rome. Our trip was last May. This was the only good Italian food we ate. How did we find it? After walking through Palatine Hill etc. just as it was closing, we were exhausted and asked an official staff where to eat dinner and he recommended this place as they were also going to go there for a party with his coworkers in a few days. It was away from the center and I don't remember the metro stop. I think there is more than one restaurant with the same name. We ate from the menu but the pictures are from the buffet (I think it was 16 euro per person). The food was flavorful, tasty, good-sized portions and they had gluten-free options! The waiter was a kind and attentive older Italian gentleman. I was really touched by this because we read so many stories of wait staff being racist and rude. We were the only tourists and the rest were locals. surprisingly there wasn't much of a crowd.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here. Lunch went very well, good and plentiful starters, appetizing first courses and an amazing roast veal. The cake was also prepared with care and good taste. All the guests were happy. I would also like to point out the kindness of the owners, the efficiency and politeness of the dining room staff combined with great availability with children and readiness to ensure some off-menu requests. The location consists of an Art Nouveau villa extended by a new tensile structure pavilion. In summary a positive experience and therefore I would recommend this restaurant.

I was lucky enough to live next to this restaurant for a few years and at every opportunity we went there for both lunch and dinner. Every time friends from outside come in search of typical and particularly good cuisine, we come to the Villetta. The buffet starter is highly recommended and surprises us every time with the freshness, goodness and variety of the dishes available. Best scampi cream risotto I've ever eaten in my life. The staff is always ready, helpful and kind. One of the best restaurants in Rome in my opinion!!

Ristorante scoperto per caso lo scorso anno, diventato il posto del cuore. Menù vario, buona cucina, attenzione alle allergie, possibilità di mangiare all' aperto sotto un bel pergolato in diversi momenti dell' anno, ma soprattutto una grande attenzione al cliente. La gentilezza e cordialità dei titolari e di tutto lo staff, insieme alla simpatia e professionalità del grande Bruno rendono speciali pranzi e cene, in un contesto familiare e gradevolissimo.
