Simply fabulous, by chance we happen to enter the restaurant and luckily a table was free for us to grab it!! Caccucio ..five fish soup was delicious and so was tiramisu and all the drinks we ordered. A very warm friendly cosy place...highly recommended.

A historic and characteristic restaurant near Piazza Repubblica. The staff were extremely kind and helpful (they welcomed our two small dogs without any problem). We ate an absolutely excellent Caciucco alla Livornese, a full portion costing €30 and serving as a complete meal (there's also the option of a half portion for €17, allowing you to try something else on the menu besides the Caciucco). Highly recommended!!!

It's always a pleasure to return to Livorno, a city where my heart beats so fast and memories resurface, especially when the places you love prove to be consistently top-notch! This is the case with the "La Vecchia Livorno" restaurant, where I feel at home. My compliments to the staff and the young waitress who, despite her young age, is very attentive, kind, lively, and well-prepared! I can't wait to return!

I went to La Vecchia Livorno for lunch today, after having wanted to come for a while. For my first time, I ordered the Gnocchetti with Seafood Ragù, Gongorzola, and Basil, accompanied by a glass of sparkling white wine, and I must say I was very satisfied. The location is very nice, and the staff is very helpful. I absolutely recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

21/10/2025: Beautiful beach, ample parking along the street, clear water, and beautiful views. Facilities (restrooms, restaurants) are available.
18/10/2025: Expensive parking. I've definitely seen nicer beaches in Tuscany. But one positive: practically deserted in mid-October.

14/10/2025: One of the must-visit restaurants on Elba, the pasta is excellent, as is the homemade fried calamari. The view is magnificent and the waiters are attentive! Go there if you are staying on the island!
14/10/2025: This excellent fish restaurant is tucked away on the campsite grounds. You can enjoy a wonderful seaside setting with a view of the water. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The highlight, however, is the freshly presented fish, expertly prepared.
