If you're in the area, I recommend you try it! The location is a bit dated, but the service is good and the food is plentiful and very tasty! The price is also really reasonable! For 2 appetizers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, 2 bottles of water, and 1 bottle of red wine, it's 80 euros!

Se siete alla ricerca di un posto autentico dove sentirvi come a casa, questo ristorante casareccio è una tappa obbligata. L’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, con un arredamento semplice ma curato, che richiama le vecchie trattorie di una volta. Qui il tempo sembra rallentare, e si riscopre il piacere di gustare la vera cucina tradizionale. I piatti sono preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e di stagione, e si sente che dietro ogni ricetta c’è passione e rispetto per la tradizione. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, i sapori genuini e intensi. Da non perdere assolutamente la pasta fatta in casa tirata a mano come una volta e i secondi di carne, teneri e saporiti. Il servizio è cordiale e familiare: si viene trattati come ospiti, non come clienti. I tempi di attesa sono giusti e il personale è sempre pronto a consigliare con un sorriso. Un’esperienza che scalda il cuore e il palato. Torneremo sicuramente!

Great place and delicious food, from the appetizers to the fresh, typical Calabrian pasta dishes to the excellent grilled meats. And to finish, they offered us two homemade liqueurs and a sampling of homemade desserts.

La Tavernetta was a truly wonderful discovery, as I wanted to get away from the touristy spots after a day at the beach. It's a 25-minute drive from the famous Michelino Beach in Parghelia, for example. I tried the fileja alla spilingese, tasty and not too spicy. The fileja with beechnuts and sausage was delicious. The beans were good, but the sausage was less flavorful. The pasta was fresh and truly delicious. The price was €7 per dish. Being used to Milan, I have nothing to add. I'd also like to praise the bread used for mopping up the pasta: it was crunchy and flavorful. With the coffee, they also brought us bitters and pieces of cake (these are questionable). For two, we spent €18 with the 20% discount from TheFork. What should I say? Go, go, go. I'll be back to try the meat, too, and many other things that preserve the beautiful and healthy side of Calabria.
