We stayed on December 31, 2024 Despite the fact that there were a lot of people... we were served very quickly... of course the food on this particular day was not excellent but still quite good... the waiters were efficient and very kind... At the end we danced with a good DJ to lots of 70s music... beautiful music

Locale molto bello e ampio con stupenda veduta sul Lago di Castel Gandolfo. Primi favolosi e fritture di gamberi e calamari con annesse patatine fritte TOP. Prezzi onesti.

I visited this good value restaurant on a tip off from my hotel, it was perfect. Very tranquil by the lake, I walked down the winding road from the cliff top. Despite my limited Italian the waitress was very patient. I had some excellent fried anchovies then pappardelle al cinghiale, delicious. Luckily I noticed at the bottom of the menu it said you could order a half portion which I did, perfect. It was very pleasant on the terrace and the kind of place where the Italian diners chat to you which I really appreciated, dining on my own. The waitress kindly helped me order a taxi back to Grottaferrata.

Nice room, large and bright, overlooking the Castel Gandolfo lake. Excellent and plentiful dishes. Fair price. Recommended, I will be back.

Everything was really good, I'm always very critical as I'm a cook, but I have to say that everything was delicious. If I had to find a flaw, perhaps I would have made the shrimp sauce less harsh but it was still good. A very positive note goes to Mr. Fabrizio Cozza (the orange and white cat) with whom I shared moments of cuddles and mussels.

31/01/2025: We spotted this bistro on Tuesday evening, it was too early for dinner so we ordered drinks for aperitivo ☺️ it was very well prepared Hugo and Aperol spritz, in addition we ordered board with Roman salumi and pecorino cheese. It was delicious. Next day I went there for a lunch and place was full inside and at the terrace, which is a sign that good food is there! And it was! I got my table very quick, I ordered artichoke Romano and amatriciana with a glass of rose. Food is amazing! Simple, fool of taste, like at home! My heart melted once I saw nonna and nonno servine the tables ❤️ whole family soul was there, I enjoyed that atmosphere, noisy as it should be in a lunch time, waiters speedily serving the tables. Once almost all guest finished their lunch and get back to work, light music and laughter of the team filled the place, joyfully continuing to work. And the best part I forgot to mentioned it was a slice of home made crostata I ordered as a take away. I carefully carried it through the rest of the day and to my flight back home. I had a very happy morning breakfast next day 🤍
31/01/2025: Excellent place for real Italian food… the dish of the day was wonderful and the service was unbeatable!!!

12/02/2025: Piatti meravigliosamente realizzati da Chef Tommaso Venuti al ristorante Almatò in Prati-Roma. Idee e fantasie culinarie perfettamente combinate grazie ad esperienza e conoscenza della materia prima. Piatti belli e squisiti, equilibrio perfetto. Bravi!
28/01/2025: Warm and not too formal environment. We tried the 8-course proposal and bought a matching bottle. The menu is divided into two appetizers which we really liked as well as the two first courses, less impressed by the two second courses and the desserts even if the apple left us with a good memory.
