The restaurant offers an extensive menu with special dishes. Starters, first courses, side dishes and desserts. The seconds are absent. Some dishes may be suitable for vegetarians. Many of the ingredients are local. Certainly of excellent quality, as is the packaging of the dishes. The environment is quiet with a limited number of tables (reservations are recommended), the premises are very clean. The staff is decidedly courteous. Prices are significantly lower than average and can be said to be convenient in relation to the quality and portions of the food offered. Definitely recommended.

A very nice place. Very nice service. The restaurant is rather full, especially on weekends, so it is necessary to book a table in advance. Food Very good, both dishes and desserts. Great bruschettas and pastas and even better desserts! I recommend!

Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante per caso perché eravamo a Predazzo di passaggio. Ho mangiato un piatto di tagliatelle fatte in casa con sugo di funghi e salsiccia locale e mi sono molto piaciuti. Abbiamo accompagnato i piatti con una caraffa di cabernet e anche questo, seppur vino in caraffa, era decisamente buono. Servizio impeccabile. Bravi!

We went to this place today for lunch. A small family group of six people. In an extremely pleasant environment, we were welcomed by young and attentive staff who showed very strong professionalism. The quality of the dishes turned out to be truly excellent, to the point that we decided to choose the primoteca as an essential stop every time we come to Val di Fiemme. In any case the restaurant deserves five stars. Top.

Rifugio Sauch

18/05/2025: Abbiamo raggiunto il rifugio a piedi da Pineta di Faedo in meno di un'ora, percorrendo la strada in mezzo a un bel bosco. Il rifugio si trova vicino al "Roccolo" ancora ben mantenuto. I piatti offerti sono gustosi e attinenti a quelli che normalmente vengono proposti nei rifugi, però con un tocco di raffinatezza in più, tanto che si avvicinano a quelli tipici della città. Il personale gentile e attento al cliente, buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
11/05/2025: Not a refuge or a mountain hut but a real restaurant. The main dish is the rabbit, but everything else was delicious too, especially the cold cuts and cheeses on the platter. Really friendly, patient and helpful staff.

Spaghetteria Pizzeria Turismo da Pezza

15/06/2025: A breath of fresh air and quality in Castello Tesino! Having just arrived in town, I wanted to try the new restaurant "Da Pezza" intrigued by the original proposal of Indian cuisine... and I was surprised to also find a rich fish menu, worthy of the best seaside resorts! I ordered shrimp cocktail, scallops au gratin, octopus salad, spaghetti allo scoglio and mixed fried food. Everything was really excellent, fresh and abundant, so much so that I almost forgot I was in the mountains: closing my eyes, it seemed like I could smell the sea and evening walks on the coasts. The spaghetti allo scoglio was perfectly balanced, the octopus salad was rich (with potatoes, olives and a perfect dressing) and the fried food was crunchy and light. To finish, an amazing mango cream ice cream, which I recommend to everyone. My partner was also enthusiastic: she chose an Indian dish and the fried fish, both excellent. The family management is evident: Justin in the dining room is courteous and knowledgeable, while his father in the kitchen conveys experience and passion. Even though the place was full (a great sign!) the wait was more than understandable. I personally complimented them at the end of the evening, hoping that they will maintain this quality and care over time. P.S.: I haven't tried the pizza, but only because I already have my regular place here in town... but sooner or later I will try that too! In short: a great discovery, a novelty that is good for Castello Tesino. We will return again and again! I forgot: more than fair prices!
