Last night we had New Year's Eve dinner (for the second time). The menu was perfect, with balanced and varied dishes, all traditional. Everything was delicious, and, importantly, no gastrointestinal side effects—a significant nuance considering the elaborate nature of the dishes. We dined with house still white wine on tap and still water (the latter included in the price, but good and light). Still white wine, if it's not "good," leaves acidity and headaches, but not last night: fantastic! The timing of the courses was masterful, taking us from 9:00 PM to midnight in a natural way (it wasn't easy, because I believe there were also "non-New Year's Eve" tables in addition to the reserved tables). Hats off, and applause. The very attentive and friendly staff, in a traditional and homey setting in a good way, coordinated by Gaetano, jovial and very attentive to the customer, masterfully orchestrated a statistically critical event, making it simple (for the diners). The sweet sparkling wine to accompany the panettone with mascarpone cream (fabulous and light) was on the house (what a gift!), the price? You might like a restaurant for the food, the quality, and the price, but there's much more. The atmosphere here is one of serenity and attentiveness, making guests feel at home. The attentive service of the owner Laura, the charming waiter Gaetano, and the waitresses make spending time pleasant.
