Ristorante La Fortezza In Assisi

We were in Assisi in December, on the 27th we wanted to have lunch and eat some of the place, it was all full but by chance we saw this restaurant... without having booked they welcomed us immediately, the service was perfect, professional and fast, we ate abundant first courses (spaghettoni, pepper and cheese), delicious, platter of cold cuts (delicious cured meats and cheeses).. delicious jams, all well explained... cooked potatoes and onions under the grill, all in a rustic, ancient and clean environment, in short we left full and happy, we recommend it!

Those kind of places that still make you believe in good food!

Excellent restaurant located in the center, perhaps the best in Assisi for what I was able to try in 3 days. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent dishes, not tourist-style "eat and go" like in many other places here. I recommend it

Exceeds expectations. Fast service. Everything excellent and generous portions. As for the meat, I don't think I've ever eaten such a good second course of meat. The price was unexpected and rather low in relation to what we ate. Compliments. If we return to Assisi we will definitely book the same restaurant.

Quality food, fast and friendly service, typical and clean place, good

From Piazza Commune on the way up to Rocca Maggiore is the Hotel and Ristorante La Fortezza. The hotel is just about the right size, with modern furnishing and strong wifi. Only downside was no coffee and tea service but lots of uoside like whatsapp access to hotel staff, generous buffet style bfast and friendly staff. Tried the onsite restaurant of the same name for dinner. Not disappointed with the lo spaghetonne carbonara and the le tagliatelle tiratelle al mattarello al ragu di cinghiale(wild boar ragu in white sauce with olives). Breakfast was also at the ristorante-buffet of local cheeses, salame, speck and prosciutto, pastries, pies and cake plus fresh fruit. Blood red orange juice and choice of hot beverages completed the breakfast offering.

Restaurant located in an alley of the town, found by chance while we were walking we stopped for lunch. The prices are modest and the dishes are excellent and plentiful, only the service left something to be desired due to the disinterest of the waiters

Lovely restaurant with great food !

Location carina e personale molto gentile. L’antipasto con bruschette buono ma nulla di particolare. Buone le polpette. Ho preso gli strangozzi con funghi E tartufo non male ma avrei evitato Di utilizzare la Panna e infarinato un po’ di più il tartufo Ottime le Tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale e la carne di maiale. Il dolce umbro mi è piaciuto molto Prezzi nella Media

Locale molto bello, ricavato all'interno delle mura di Assisi. Camino con brace a vista. Buona scelta di piatti, con punto di forza sulla carne. Discreta qualità (ci si aspetta un quid in più da un locale che si professa braceria). Si potrebbe sicuramente fare di meglio. Servizio cordiale. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
