Impeccable service and a very generous pasta dish. Too bad there's only one vegetarian dish on the menu.

Amazing tastes, sooo delicious! I ordered veal tartare and gnocchi with ragú, they were both amazing! So much entertainment for the tasting bids! Wine wise, I drunk Gewürtztramini and a glass of Sagrantino. They were both on top. The service was also very kind and attentive. I wish I could eat here more than just once. Can absolutely recommend.

At La Fortezza restaurant in Assisi you eat really well. The spaghetti cacio e pepe is creamy and tasty, made to perfection. The grilled lamb is sublime: tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The tiramisu is a dream: light, sweet enough and irresistible. A place where you eat with taste. Truly wonderful

I went to eat with my boyfriend on a Wednesday evening. Restaurant 2 steps from the main square, so central but still very private. Possibility of eating both inside and outside in the alleys of Assisi. Friendly and fast service. Quality food, generous portions and good value for money. Recommended!

I'll grant that the staff is very friendly and welcoming, but the food is below par for a good Italian restaurant. The pasta alla carbonara was problematic in a number of ways... The meat used was probably a prosciutto or maybe a very mild pancetta... It was definitely not guanciale. The meat was not finished into the dish but sprinkled on top, and the sauce was lacking in seasoning (surprising because several other items were very heavy on salt.) Proper carbonara should have some black pepper and the sauce is largely pecorino Romano (which is distinctly salty.) I suspect some cream was used instead, or perhaps a mild cheese. The osso buco tortellini were nice, though the sauce leaned a bit sweet. The mixed cuts of grilled pork were too salty and some of the cuts were quite tough. The contorni were quite large. The spinach was fresh but under seasoned, and the potatoes were small baked foil-wrapped with a bit of butter, which is an odd method for an Italian place.

Very high quality, lovely service, incredible outlook, generous servings. This is definitely worth the short walk off the main path. Bellissimo!

Muy buen almuerzo al aire libre en la pequeña terraza en la parte superior de los escalones. La Carbonara que pedimos era bueno y una gran porción, suficiente para 2 personas! Buen vaso de Prosecco y una cerveza, redondeado la comida.

Ottima cena in pieno centro ad Assisi dove è facile cadere nelle trappole turistiche. Porzioni molto abbondanti, buona carne alla brace e le patate sotto il fuoco. Menzione d'onore per la favolosa rocciata fatta in casa. Personale gentilissimo e attento al cliente anche a fine serata e prezzi onesti.
