Always the best in amatriciana and everything else. Incredible appetizers, super filling and all delicious. If you've never tried them, you absolutely have to try them. The fried focaccia, the freshly warm ricotta. The coratella, the cured meats and pecorino cheeses. Truly a must-try if you're passing through Amatrice!

A restaurant where you can savor the authentic flavors of Amatrice. Spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Suitable for large groups. Good value for money. The fact that I've always found it popular and the reviews I've read lead me to believe I'm not the only one who thinks it's a great place to stop for a meal.

Excellent location, a beautiful, bright wooden space with ample parking. She's a great saleswoman, with just two words: "I'll take care of everything" (the approval given by a friend without being able to stop her), and in less than a minute she brought to the table a selection of appetizers that we hadn't even expected, but were all in all good. Then, with the usual "I'll take care of it" and the usual consenting friend, she brought out an amatriciana rossa and a gricia as samples. Then, when you order a coffee, you get bottles of the house sweet liqueur and you pay a flat 30 euros. I think the price could have been lower. If we had ordered a main course with side and drinks, 50 euros each wouldn't have been enough. TOO MUCH. I couldn't even read the menu.

The food was excellent. I discovered that the real Amatriciana is "white," and I found it delicious. Personally, I preferred the "red," which was still good. The appetizers were excellent, and the mixed meat platter, including arrosticini, was fantastic. The wine was good, red, served, and the homemade gentian after the coffee. Very fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is very nice, considering it's all made of wood, thanks to the terrible earthquake that practically destroyed everything. Go Amatrice ❤️💪🏻

My family has been frequenting this restaurant since 1983. I still remember the charming old trattoria on the ground floor of the old house as a child. It may be a few years, but whenever I set foot in Amatrice, I always gladly return to recharge with their delicious food. Nando and Angelo are fantastic. Recently, I've also tried their arrosticini, which are delicious and unique, different from ours, but I loved them.

You could stop at the appetizers, they're so delicious and plentiful. But both the first and second courses are worth trying; everything is excellent and served with friendliness. Highly recommended!
