I went to eat in this restaurant near Bracciano, a nice and well-kept place but not directly on the lake. As far as eating is concerned, I give enough but I can't go beyond that. Fixed menu consisting of:
starter of good quality vegetable fries but a taste and nothing more.
A first course of your choice between paccheri with seafood or a risotto with scampi cream. Leaving aside the fact that it was calamarata and not paccheri, the taste was pleasant if it weren't for the overcooked pasta served on a flat plate and without the possibility of an encore.
The same goes for the risotto which I didn't eat and for which I can't comment. However, it is impressive to see a small Flemish take away by the waiter (there were 8 of us) while it was still half full. and even in this case there is no possibility of an encore considering the scarcity of the portions.
For the second course the menu included:
Fried calamari, prawns and perch or alternatively just the perch fillets. Also in this case nothing plated but served directly at the table. The sad thing was seeing the waiter counting the rings (4 per plate), a prawn (and there were those who didn't take it) and two pieces of perch (the size of 1 corn biscuit)... For those who opted for the fried perch alone there were 4 pieces and not one more. I must say that the flavor was very good, perfect frying, crunchy and dry... But this only increases the regret.
The side dish included chips or a green salad... Nothing to say. (a few tomatoes in the salad wouldn't have hurt)
For dessert the menu included a lemon sorbet. It is served in a small flute (also a little)... But the thing that left everyone perplexed is that a fresh dessert would have been very welcome, I won't say ice cream, but given the high temperatures of the day, something that provided a bit of refreshment... Instead in glasses
Each had a creamy sorbet-like substance with a strong lemon flavor but practically at room temperature... (read lukewarm).
To finish, coffee in a plastic cup and wooden stirrer.
Fresh water was not lacking as was a bottle of wine for 8 (without the possibility of choosing at least between white or red).
What can I say spending €30 for a menu without the possibility of variations and with ridiculous quantities largely nullifies everything else,
it almost felt like being in a company canteen, not for the quality but for the choice offered.
To conclude, you leave the table with a bit of dissatisfaction even if lunch was offered to you by one of the guests.

As I had the opportunity to write, my considerations were not aimed at the quality of what was proposed (4 stars out of 5) but at the service. Regarding the basket that a diner took away, it was only the chips and not the fish and honestly I hadn't noticed (I wouldn't have done so since it was chips, but the world is beautiful because it's varied).
PS It is not my habit to go to the Internet first when invited to lunch to check what I can eat…. Does she do it?

We celebrated the communion of our son Valerio on May 12th at the restaurant... a family atmosphere, delicious food of excellent quality... but the plus are the owners! Kind, helpful and welcoming. The guests were all very satisfied! Congratulations truly and a warm greeting

Sono andato a pranzo la scorsa domenica. Location immersa nel verde e nella pace, con vista sul lontano lago di Bracciano. Apprezzabile il prosecco di benvenuto, poi antipasto di fritti succulento, ma il top il risotto alla crema di scampi che adoro. A seguire un fritto di mazzancolla, calamari e pesce abbondante, con contorno. Immancabile il sorbetto VERO, non limone ghiacciato come spesso propinato, a finire caffè. Ecco il menù di pesce. Bravo Pino nel gestire il servizio nel locale pieno, e complimenti a Isabella per la formula vincente del prezzo fisso a 30 euro. Il Gestore non ha sprechi e può fornire qualità eccellente, e i clienti nel conto non trovano sgradite sorprese. Continuate così. Importante ..prenotate sempre con congruo anticipo.
