A fantastic restaurant with delicious food and wonderful service. Huge portions. A pleasant surprise in an unassuming location. The waitress was wonderful—she even helped me remove stains from my blouse.

If you want to eat well, a lot, and at a fair price, you've found the right place. The two waiters, male and female, are friendly, hospitable but not intrusive, and they go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. They're all hard workers and excellent. I recommend the tagliatelle with vegetables and the house antipasto. Compliments

We ate two different first courses, a fantastic carbonara and ravioli that we had never eaten so good, even the roast was noteworthy, home cooking and local ingredients, you could feel all the flavour of traditional Abruzzo cuisine. Compliments

Sunday evening and Mother’s Day in Italy. We had not booked but the restaurant staff made us very welcome. We immediately felt comfortable here in the homely surroundings. The waiter recommended a wine that was a good price and delicious. We ordered primo and secondo courses. We both had pasta for starters and both plates were enormous and delicious, all the ingredients were obviously fresh and well cooked. All courses arrived with perfect timing. For mains we had steak in mushroom sauce and agnello al forno. Again, large portions exquisitely cooked. We both agreed the steak was one of the best we had ever eaten and the lamb was superb. Coffee was on the house and the total price very good. We are going back at the weekend to try the fish dishes. Highly recommended
