We had a lovely experience here! The service was warm and attentive, and the view from our table was absolutely beautiful — definitely recommend reserving ahead to get a front-facing spot. They welcomed us with a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was such a nice touch. The food was delicious, especially the seafood — a refreshing change after weeks of pasta on our Italy trip! Great atmosphere overall and worth a visit if you’re in Camogli.

Best restaurant in Camogli, romantic location on the sea, very kind staff and delicious food. We will never forget the seafood ciriole and the paccheri with the catch of the day!

The waiter who served us seemed very unhappy with his job – or maybe with life in general. The dishes seemed quite good, but it felt like the staff didn’t like us, perhaps because we didn’t appear wealthy enough, or maybe for some other reason.

Beautiful place with a view of the sunset over the sea... excellent food... and good value for money... unique flaws... having booked for 7.30pm it is a bit of a hot environment given the sun comes in directly and at 9pm we had to vacate the table... even though it was my wife's birthday🫨

Locale veramente a sbalzo sul mare sul lungomare di Camogli nel suo punto più bello, personale gentile, ottimi piatti, prezzi medi. Una vista mare top.

Location sicuramente accattivante , si cena in veranda direttamente sul mare. Personale attento e servizio puntuale. Gradito il flûte di benvenuto con frittelle. Qualità dei piatti molto buona, anche se non memorabile. Noi abbiamo apprezzato i tagliolini alle vongole, pomodori secchi e pecorino ed il fritto misto, con cottura molto leggera. Scelta dei dessert un po’ limitata. Prezzi inferiori ad altri locali. Due primi, due secondi, un dessert ed una bottiglia di vino 100€

29/06/2025: I was there with friends, without booking, they found us a table right away, welcomed us kindly. Dishes prepared with attention and generous portions, very fresh fish, no waiting despite the full room and outside. Prices are normal. The owners are a nice and kind family. I can only highly recommend it. We will return with other friends to give them the opportunity to get to know this wonderful restaurant.
23/06/2025: Great evening at Vela Restaurant, the mussels are the best in Italy, the service is very professional, the welcome is warm and the quality of the dishes is amazing, as the US say, really a great restaurant, not to mention the very affordable prices, highly recommended.

24/06/2025: Not located along the shoreline so feel less touristy, although still at a very prime location. Was shocked as the mussels were sooo fresh and juicy. Seafood pasta was unworldly. Apparently their seafood comes from Sardinia which is very close to them and fly in everyday. A MUST try for sure. Staff was also very friendly. Maybe my face screams tourist so she even gave us a small portion of a famous local pasta dish that we couldn’t manage to order (as we are a small group).
23/06/2025: We arrived on Saturday evening and asked for a table for two for dinner. The owner was very kind and helpful and found us a place around 7:30 pm. We ate a seafood appetizer, I had the trofie with pesto and Nicola the pansotti with walnut sauce. Finally, grilled fish. All delicious. Nicola and Cristina thank you. See you soon.
