A great experience, booked online for February 8th, arrived...closed for holidays until February 18th...??!??!??!??

A perfectly renovated rustic restaurant, serving traditional appetizers and a fantastic Florentine steak, featuring a variety of meats and aged cuts, all of which are always over 4 fingers thick. Fair prices for the excellent quality!

Excellent food and impeccable service

Dinner for two, a very nice place, although I would have expected slightly nicer and more refined tablecloths from a place like this. The staff was very courteous and the service was quick, especially considering the small number of customers at the time. We ordered a starter, the potato flan, which unfortunately had a very cold, if not almost frozen, center, a real shame because everything else was truly excellent. Telling others, they said it had never happened to them before and, in fact, it seemed very unusual. We also ordered two first courses, the potato tortellacci and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, both highly appreciated, both for the way the pasta and the tortellacci were cooked, and for the two sauces, which didn't overpower the meat flavor. For dessert, the chocolate soufflé was also a favorite. Overall, a good experience, a highly recommended place for a quiet evening and if you want to eat well!

I didn't know this place even though it's in Florence. We booked for New Year's Eve at my wife's suggestion, and it was worth it. The dishes were cooked to perfection and had bold flavors. The service was fast, friendly, and seamless. The place was beautiful, with a lit fireplace, and even the restrooms were perfect. What can I say? Go there, it's worth the trip. Many thanks to all the staff.

We ate at this little restaurant last night for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the food was excellent (the pappardelle al papero were excellent). The staff were friendly and helpful. The wine list was extensive. The quality/price ratio was excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Barbara and Giulio.
