The food is really good, but unfortunately the service isn't.

Had lunch outside today, practically out of season. Two first courses: Busiata with red tuna ragù, eggplant and toasted almonds, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and basil (€16). Paccheri La Battigia with monkfish ragù and raw shrimp (€20); good but… … Accompanied by a “mezzina” of Grillo 13% (€16); cover charge €3 each (justified by cloth napkins and placemats); Friendly service. One coffee; total €67.50 for two (perhaps a bit high, but in line with others in the area). Overall, better than many others in the area (though they'd be worth trying). Above-average presence of flying insects.

Franca welcomes you with typical Sicilian warmth and her distinctive German accent! She made me feel at home from the first moment! A warm hug also to her daughter and her friend Maria Grazia. Highly recommended restaurant. Compliments to the chef for his excellent cuisine and presentation. I recommend the raw ham and spaghetti with clams, sea urchins, and bottarga. Superb 😋

Overall, the dinner was decent. The pasta was too salty, which detracted from the experience. The tuna tartare, however, was a positive note: fresh, delicate, and beautifully presented, definitely the best dish of the evening. The service was courteous, but overall, I expected something more.

The best seafood restaurant in San Vito. From the warm, welcoming, and friendly staff to the superb food. Risotto with burrata and raw shrimp was delicious, tagliolini with bottarga and raw shrimp were even better. The appetizers were fresh and everything was plentiful. Highly recommended.
