Ristorante La Baracca In Carcare

Coming back to La Baracca is always a pleasure. Raw meat, truffles, snails and donkey meat...always everything delicious!!! And Luciano's legendary Nebbiolo is not to be underestimated, it goes very well with all the dishes

Nice place (inside and out) and excellent service (very organised). Good food. It's a shame that the place is very crowded and therefore noisy, but it was Easter Monday, and it was obvious that it was.

Excellent cuisine and service. We go there often. Advised.

The first time I have used this restaurant, in the years that I have frequented the area, it was a pleasant surprise, kind and helpful staff, good food, welcoming environment, the owner a pleasant person with whom I stopped briefly to chat. Excellent value for money. Well done I will come back recommended.

We booked at 1pm, then I called to ask if it was a problem to move to 1.30pm and we ended up arriving at 2pm. They welcomed us without problems and served us without haste. Every time I've gone I've had a great meal. Thanks to everyone and congratulations

Everything is perfect, friendly staff,

Without infamy and without praise, it's good for spending a day in company. The place is nice and warm, the staff is friendly and helpful. However, there isn't even a dividing door between the living room and the kitchen and at the end of the meal all the clothes you have on will have to be washed. We asked to have a "fixed menu" lunch and the waitress offered us 5 starters - 2 first courses and 2 second courses with dessert and drinks excluded. Up to the starters everything was excellent, while from the starters onwards the quality diminished. White pasta with condiments "rested" on top and tagliolini with mushrooms with tasteless champignons. The roast....too dry. At the dessert there was a "thrill": the dining room staff told us that there was only one type of dessert while we could then choose others. Wine I drank a Nebbiolo but the price was not known (it is not present on the menu). The same goes for water which is paid for but it is not known how much the bottle costs. The moment of the bill was tragicomic: after the total bill was given we were told that the desserts had been offered to us (but weren't they already included in the fixed menu?) and that the bill was 290/300 euros. When we asked to pay divided by three... it was decided to round up directly making a round figure of 100!
