Intimate, clean and tidy place, friendly and efficient service, but the food is top! I'm looking for an excellent appetizer with spectacular plums and my son ate a whole plate of excellent polenta! I recommend it!

It is a beautiful location, on the heights of Verbania at about 900 meters, there are many places inside, but also outside in a beautiful garden shaded by beautiful trees and some umbrellas.
Mrs. Carla, in addition to being an expert cook, is also an excellent organizer and always finds you a suitable table, given that we have two little dogs and rather elderly mother and mother-in-law.
The staff is very helpful, the food is ALL ARTISAN and cooked with knowledge and experience, tasty and succulent, following our mountain traditions a bit, polenta, mushrooms, gorgonzola, very tender veal king, wild boar and also grilled dishes such as la sliced bull, then the various pastas, even the desserts are delicious.
I highly recommend it.

The objective for us was to visit the Alpine Memorial located just above the restaurant. On the way back we stopped at Baita da Carla, having heard great things about it. We sit in the cool garden and order two plates of Spaghetti alla guitar with bacon, tomato and pecorino, then venison stew with plums and polenta, finishing with a cup of mountain blueberries with ice cream. Meal accompanied by an amazing bottle of Nebbiolo Dante Rivetti from Neive. To finish, coffee with barricaded grappa. I must say that I really appreciated the dishes I tasted and the friendly service.

L' obbiettivo era per noi la visita al Memoriale degli Alpini situato poco più in alto del ristorante. Al ritorno ci siamo fermati alla Baita da Carla, avendone sentito parlare un gran bene. Ci accomodiamo nel fresco giardino e ordiniamo due piatti di Spaghetti alla chitarra con guanciale, pomodoro e pecorino, poi spezzatino di Cervo con prugne e polenta, per finire una coppa di mirtilli di montagna con gelato. Pasto accompagnato da una strepitosa bottiglia di Nebbiolo Dante Rivetti di Neive. Per finire caffè con grappa barricata. Devo dire che ho apprezzato molto i piatti assaggiati ed il servizio cordiale.

I cannot give an opinion on the food having not had lunch... I can give an opinion on the restaurant and bar service... both excellent... the outdoor garden is extremely pleasant and shaded by trees and umbrellas... all well looked after.

Ristorante con dehor molto bello servizio molto curato e gentile.cibo buono ben fatto ma conto finale davvero troppo alto e pagamento solo in contanti.non mi ha convinto!!!!

The ravioli with sage and butter sauce is really bad. The pasta was dry, and the filling tasteless. The butter sauce was not on it. Never eaten such factory pasta before. I don't come to Italy for this. :(
