L’Airone restaurant is the PERFECT place to spend time with family in the beautiful, authentic rural atmosphere that only we in the Sele Plain know how to create, having grown up in the footsteps of Zeno (who learned from Plato, the most intelligent person in the history of the Universe - FINEMMÒ). The restaurant is easily accessible thanks to the nearby Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway exits. If you're a tourist without a car, local companies and travel agencies can arrange transportation for you, with pick-up points at key locations in the region. The restaurant is nestled in a beautiful green area and natural oasis, PERFECT for both a family day out on a beautiful sunny day and a business meeting away from computer screens and cell phones. Totally recommend! A place that both Grandma, Mom, and Daughter love. 🌼

07/03/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, easy to chat with at the table. Perfect service. The sandwich is really good, with good-quality ingredients and the meat cooked just right, even the spicy mayonnaise is interesting. Regarding fried foods, the fries and chicken strips are quite good, while the nuggets are probably the only negative, perhaps needing a rethink. The quality/price ratio is average. Overall, I was very satisfied, and I recommend it.

10/05/2026: Pizzeria in the heart of Salerno...a historic establishment. Excellent pizza, with a special mention for the light and fragrant dough, but the fried foods could be improved. Friendly and professional waiters, and reasonable prices for a city-center pizzeria.
03/05/2026: The service was fast, the staff were efficient and friendly, but the quality of the pizza leaves much to be desired. The quality has declined recently. It's now a place of passage. Cleanliness is also lacking. It's a shame, considering it's a historic place with a good name. I hope the interest doesn't outweigh the desire to return to being "Cavatappi." Take this reflection as a starting point.
