Ristorante Krokos In Agrigento

Este bello reducto ubicado en un callejón en escalera, cuenta con una correcta atención y unos platillos deliciosos, las tablas de frituras y el mixto de pescados y mariscos es muy recomendable, tener en cuenta que son abundantes.

El restaurante fue recomendado por nuestro hotel y disfrutamos de nuestra comida. Entre los cuatro disfrutamos del Caprese largo con el plato de carne / queso - con platos eran muy buenos. Para nuestra red todos pedimos el marisco tagliolini (tagliolini margellini) que era encantador. La comida se disfrutó con una botella de Planeta La Segreta y luego una botella de Cristo De Campobello (una encantadora mezcla de Nero d'Avelo, Merlot, Syrah & Cab Sav). El servicio de espera hablaba poco inglés (pero eran mucho mejores que nuestro italiano! ) pero eran muy serviciales. La factura llegó a 165 euros que incluía servicio, así como un par de cafés (que no eran geniales y estaban fríos) junto con una media botella de Grillo. Una buena comida, pero probablemente exploraría otros restaurantes antes de regresar.

Fresh fish, excellent cuisine, magical atmosphere and friendly service: the perfect recipe for a romantic dinner on holiday.

The Krokos restaurant, located in the center of Agrigento, offers typical Sicilian dishes at fairly honest prices. We went as a couple for dinner and had a rustic appetizer, cavatelli alla norma and grilled fish. Of these, the starter was very good and varied, perfect for sharing between two people. The cavatelli alla norma were delicious and clearly surpassed the grilled fish which, however, was good but not particularly noteworthy. The sore point, however, lies in the environment: they placed us in the last internal room, which at first glance only seemed a little dark and isolated (they returned later to turn on the light for us...). However, not only was it isolated, so much so that the service forgot about us for a good half hour despite having asked to order, but it was also dirty and full of mold in the ceiling and surrounding walls. Unpresentable to customers and also serious, since I myself am allergic to such mold and having been there was certainly not a pleasure for my health. It doesn't end there: the air conditioner made a constant and annoying noise that accompanied us throughout dinner. In short, we were alone in a noisy room with three/four tables and the waiters popped in when they remembered us. It's a shame, because if there had been more attention both in the environment and in the service, the dinner would have been much more pleasant and I would have recommended this place with a light heart. It's not like that.

Restaurant located on the main street of the center of Agrigento, excellent and genuine cuisine, dishes prepared with care but with that something extra which is the attention to traditional cuisine that many now lack. Excellent prices for the quality found, top staff. I recommend it for anyone passing through Agrigento!

Excellent little restaurant where you can taste Sicilian specialties. Friendly and attentive service, excellent and plentiful food, I recommend booking. Fairly cheap price, starters, first courses and drinks just over €20 each.
