Fantastic meal whilst in Rome. Catered to my allergies making a dish from scratch. Very much appreciated. Food was beautiful, staff fantastic. Highly recommended!

If you ask for the chicken half-and-half spicy, they'll go crazy. It's so delicious, and it's better than any other dish I've had since coming to Italy. The staff are all friendly and attentive, and I'm so satisfied. If I were in Korea, I'd go here every week. After finishing my meal and ordering coffee, they gave me a coconut-based ginger dessert, which was also delicious. If I'd known in advance, I would have come here more often. It's a shame. The butter chicken, chicken half-and-half, garlic naan, and plain rice (white rice) were all fantastic, not just average.

amazing food and service. had chicken vindaloo and lamb vindaloo. both spicy and it was as expected. I was craving for some indian food and it was fulfilled. thank you. ps price is on the higher side though

The food was BOMB! As an Indian living abroad, I’m very sceptical of Indian restaurants, but Gandhi 2 is as close to authentic Indian food as it gets! The service was quick and efficient, and Sukh plus the other staff were all very accommodating 🙏🏼

Visited Gandhi Restaurant for the first time and had an incredible dining experience. Mr. Iqbal’s service was exceptional, he paid great attention to our preferences. I was craving authentic desi food, and it truly hit the spot.

After a week of carbs it was lovely to have an Indian meal served by such pleasant and welcoming staff. Food was excellent, heartily recommend to anyone visiting .

08/03/2026: My wife and I are both Sri Lankan and live in the United States. On our first day visiting Rome, we were walking around and saw this place. We were not hungry but we don’t have a single Sri Lankan restaurant where we live in the USA so we stopped in for some short eats (fish rolls) and to see what else they had. The food we tried was authentic and tasted great. I really wish we had this place at home, the rest of the food looked so good. The staff are really friendly Sri Lankan people and we don’t have a single complaint about this place. If you want to try some authentic food from Sri Lanka while in Rome, this is a great place to try it.

17/03/2026: They're very friendly, and the food is excellent! If you have a problem with spicy food—I don't!—ask for a customization. I think it's very close to the cuisine of their region; in short, a true Indian restaurant.
